As you can see by my feedback I am a very honest seller.  Buying an ATV online can be scary.  You'll notice in a lot of auctions there is very little description and very few pictures.  In my auctions you get all the details, both good and bad.   In addition you are always welcome to come check this quad out and ride/inspect it for yourself before the auction ends to ensure your happiness.   However, if you are unable to do so I guarantee your happiness, with this:  If you win, get here and find that I have misrepresented it in any way you can walk away without paying a dime and with, no fear of bad feedback.

ATV

This ATV is a 2008 Honda Rincon 680 4x4.  The Rincon is Honda?s absolute top of the line ATV.   It is a 680cc, four stroke, switchable 4x4 ATV featuring an auto or electric shift (depending on your mood) transmission, electric start, reverse, fully digital instrumentation, fuel injection, and the best handling in its class.    If you are reading this you probably already know that Honda makes the absolute highest quality ATVs on the planet.   I have been playing with quads for about 25 years now.  I have owned them all.  I have raced many.  And I have worked on every major brand.  The difference in build quality from a Honda to the others is more than significant, it is huge.  Hondas are not always the fastest or the coolest, but they are always the longest lasting and most dependable.  Ask any ATV mechanic. 

Rincons are full, four wheel independent suspension so they give an excellent combination of ride and handling.    Probably the coolest thing about these quads though is the transmission.   You can actually switch between a traditional Honda style electric shift mode (push button) to an automotive style automatic transmission.   Do not confuse this with a belt driven variable transmission like a Polaris has.  It is a hydraulic fluid actuated automatic with a torque converter just like a car.  When you put it in full auto it just winds up and shifts automatically.  No belts to slip or break?  ever.

Nice features include a digital hour meter, speedometer, odometer, trip meter, clock, gas gauge, gear position indicator, and 4x4 indicator on the dashboard.   It has switchable 4x4 so you can be in 4x2 for ease of steering and gas mileage and only switch to 4x4 when you need it; all with the flip of a switch.  It also has a handy storage compartment and a 12 volt power outlet for spotlights, cell phones, etc.

Condition   

This machine is in excellent used condition and has only 1072 original miles and 118 hours of use. 

The engine is perfect and fires immediately as soon as you push the button.    Fuel injection truly makes for super easy starts in any weather.  

It revs perfectly and pulls hard with no misses, noises, leaks or smoke. 

The transmission and 4x4 systems function perfectly in all modes.

The brakes all function perfectly and the suspension is nice and tight with no play in the wheel bearings, tie-rod ends, etc.

The wheels are also in excellent condition with no damage.   When it came in the original tires had around 30% tread left so we just installed a brand new set.   These literally have no use on them at all yet. 

The plastics look great also.  It may have a light scratch here and there but there are no deep ones and absolutely no cracks or other damage.     It is in way above average shape for the year.

Underneath it does show minor use but nothing serious.  Expect surface rust on the exhaust, paint chips on the frame, etc. like any used ATV but no damage.  

It is overall a 9 out of 10 with 10 being absolutely perfect.  It is a good solid machine.

These machines sell new for around $8000.   You won?t likely find another used one any nicer than this and I promise you won?t pay anywhere near $8000 for it in this no reserve auction.   Good luck.

Details:

Overall this is a very nice ATV that will make someone very happy.  No games here, it will sell.  No reserve and no ?buy it now?.   As for transaction details, I am located in Sadieville, Kentucky (40370).  We are right off Interstate 75, 25 miles North of Lexington KY and 60 South of Cincinnati, OH.  I am willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements.   Kentucky residents will be required to pay 6% state sales tax on top of the final bid amount.   We do not collect sales tax or any other fees from out of state bidders.

I don't need a deposit but if we ship, it must be paid in full first.   I will not sell it off eBay so there is no need to ask.  This machine comes with a clean title that is ready to transfer or export to Canada.
