1967 Mustang Fastback

Condition: 

The condition of the car is very solid, and very much rust free. I consider it a very well preserved car for being 41 yrs old. There is imperfections but very minor, the car has had a repaint at some point and even that it is presentable for a dailey driver, it is not perfect. The car had been maintained but it has never been professionally restored. The interior needs to be freshened up and I am including what I have purchased with the sale of the car. The floors, quarters, drop offs and rails are all original and rust free. There is no signs of previous repairs or accident damage. I stress that you look at the many pictures I have taken of the undercarriage and of the car in general to see that this is a very clean 99 % rust free car. I will accomodate anyone who wants to set up an appointment to inspect the car in person. I have bought many items for this car over the years and I will include all of it if bought using the "buy it now" option only. I will post these items at the bottom of the listing later this evening. This car is very nice dailey driver and is a very easy car to re-paint and go to the shows. I have priced the car very reasoneably and I will answer all questions asked honestly and to the best of my knowledge. I am not the original owner.

Factory built with the following:  The color is Alcapolco blue, with two tone blue interior. The motor is a 289 and a c-4 transmission. The factory options on the car were air conditioning and power steering, exterior decor package, fold down rear seat. 

Currently the car is a 4 speed manual with a hurst shifter, the 289 was rebuilt by the previous owner and he told me they installed 302 heads, a 4 barrel and dual exhaust with the shelby chrome quad tips. There is a rear track lock installed for added suspenssion and a Monte carlo bar also. There is also many "GT" details added like the GT gas cap, GT fog lights, exterior decor stainless trim. All of the glass is factory tinted as were all cars with air conditioning, it is in good shape with no cracks. The interior panels are in very good condition without any speaker holes and the like. The trap door is complete as is the rear fold down seat.

I will add more details if I forgot anything. I must say also that this car has had some great and responsible owners in it's life and it shows. The car was driven and inspected until August of this year 2008.

I have spent some time taking more pictures of the car and would like to add more information as I want and have tried to describe this car completely.

Again this is a strong and structurally sound car, I have owned 5 in the last 9 years and this one is as good as they come. However it is not perfect, I found one area I would like to add that have just a pin hole or two but overall this area is not thin metal and would not require any metal replacement but some small attention with metal filler. The first area is the passenger toe board. I also noticed a very small crack in the front windshield and I will be including an original replacement with the normal auction to remedy this.

 I would encourage everyone who is bidding to request additional pictures that I have, I am confident that anyone will be pleased with the car. I am not new to these cars and I have seen many, I will repeat that this car is ready for anyone with time and elbow grease to invest, there is no major work needed. There are no mechanical problems whatsever, but the time put into it so far has been for a sound dailey driver not a show queen.

I have added the new and used parts list that will be included with the sale of the car if bought with the "Buy it Now" option only.  If the car is sold to the highest bidder the parts will be available and we can come to an agreed price for the lot as listed here.
