An all original, numbers matching 1969 Mustang Mach 1 with the much sought after 428 Cobra Jet engine. This car spent it's entire life out in the desert, in Las Vegas, NV, and the last 20 years sitting inside the previous owners garage. My buddy watched this car for the past 20 years hoping someday to have the opportunity to buy it. That day came. He got his dream car. Unfortunately, he allowed his girlfriend for the past 6 years, now his ex-, to loan him the money for this car, and the plan was to complete the car the right way, get married and live happily ever after. Well, guess what? She says it's over, and she wants her money back that was invested in this car.

He has painstakingly built the motor in this car from the block up, completely overhauled the transmission and rear end. Mechanically, this car is done. As this auction is going on, he is continually working to complete the car. It will be running and drivable by the end of this auction.

The paint on this car is the original paint, from the door jams to the perfect trunk lid, (see pics). There is also a book that will be included with this car that has the history of what has been done to it from the previous owner, and what the current owner has put into the motor, transmission, and rearend. It is an original shaker hood car, but has a Boss 429 hood scoop on it at this time. We do not have the original shaker intake for the car.

This car has ZERO rust except for two small places at the bottom corners of the doors. All original sheet metal in this car. You will not find another well preserved car like this one for the low, reserve price. There is also a world of extra parts that are included with this car. All original new old stock Ford parts bought back in the 70's, most still in original boxes and wrapping. From front and rear bumpers, lights, fenders, rear panel, door handles, plus many use parts, and the list goes on and on. To numerous to list. We have the engine, transmission, and rearend numbers available upon request. If you would like a picture of any particular part of this car, let me know via email, and I will gladly take it for you. THERE ARE 109000 ORIGINAL MILES ON THIS CAR. ZERO MILES ON THE ENGINE, TRANSMISSION, AND REAR SINCE BEING REBUILT. THE CAR WILL BE ROAD READY TONIGHT, AND WILL BE DRIVEN FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 20 YEARS BY THE OWNER PROBABLY FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK JUST TO MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS AND TO GET SOME SATISFACTION FOR ALL HIS HARD WORK.

For those that don't know about the "R" model Mach 1, it is the same frame and body that the Boss 429 was built on. It has a heavy duty front end under it, beefed up for the Boss 429 engine, cast iron tail shaft in the transmission, and the nostalgia rear end. This is a rare car that will probably be worth $200,000.00 in about 10 years or less. Don't let this one slip away!
