This is a 1984 Honda ATC 200s. I purchased this bike in Feb 2004 in good condition and have done a lot of work to it since then.
Let's Start with the new stuff...
New -wheel bearings
-Steering stem bearings (tapered roller bearings, not the cheap ball bearings)
-brakes (front and rear)
-brake chamber seals
-recoil starter w/working decompression cable (Honda NOS-new/old stock)
-upper forks (Honda NOS)
-fuel valve
-tires...rear - super swamper 22x12.5x8 w/tubes (95%+)
front - carlisle stryker 22x11x8 (95%+)
-vinyl cover on seat
-rear fender (maier)
rebuilt - forks (seals, wipers & boots)
- carburetor
There are no cracks in the plastic, just some scratches from use. The forks are straight and true. The tires do not leak down. There is no rust in the tank. I tumbled the tank w/steel shot to clean it and treated it with a rust inhibitor inside (some buildup of the inhibitor but no rust). As you can see in the pics, this ATC has a key switch and a choke cable. Since the 200s came with neither, I modified it with parts from a Big Red to make this possible. It is NOT an electric start but you will need the key to start it with the recoil. This bike also has the original and almost complete tool kit (the pliers broke so I replaced them with vise grips). I will also throw in an atv cover and a manual. The GPS mount is NOT included in the auction. The bike is titled in Florida.
Now for some minor negatives. This bike has some minor surface rust on the frame. There is also a small dent in the fuel tank (see pic). The engine smokes a bit (mild to moderate depending on how warm the engine is and how clean the plug is). I had a top end done with new rings and lapped valves, but I wasn't able to give it a proper thrashing to seat the rings. The compression is still good and the bike is strong and moderately fast.
This bike is not a showroom quality bike, but it is truly a nice "buy and ride" bike. All maintenance was kept up. The bike was washed down and inspected after every ride. All you will need is a little gas and a place to ride. I have ridden this bike very few times since I bought it and it is just taking up space in my trailer. I know the winning bidder will enjoy this ATC.
