This is a good condition 1991 Kawasaki X2 Jetski. If you are not familiar with the style, do a little web research. It was one of the first "crossover" style skis that you can ride sitting down (for thos longer runs) or standing for a Sport experience. These things are capable of INCREDIBLE tricks in the hands of experienced riders.
I bought this ski as a project. It has 2005 Registration tags on it and I was told that was when it last ran. I bought it with the expectation of making it into a fast ski by adding some moderate after market accessories.
Finances ran low, I lost my free storage and here it is on eBay. Amazing what kids and a wife will make a man do ;-)
I have never tried to get ski running (not even turning over). I do not know the condition of the engine or the rest of the components. Hull is in decent shape with expected dings and marks for a ski of its age. No signs of major abuse.
My guess looking at it is - worst case - it will need a new engine (or rebuild this one if appropriate) and carb. I looked on both eBay and online for potential replacement engines and found a used engine for around $200 - $300. New rebuilds go for about $600 and up with no core exchange. Carbs start around $50 used and you can go high end Mikuni for about $200. This existing carb could even be rebuilt by the right person for cheap.
For $800 you'd get a new engine and carb. Just install and away you go. I think.
Also included is a great condition 4-wheel (castor) stand. The stand alone is easily $200.
No trailer is included. No registration is included. No title (I didnt receive one when I purchased it). Sold with Bill of Sale. I guarantee clear ownership to the point of money back.
Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I wil happily ship and can assist with crating if needed. Im just an average Joe with good skills to help.
I take Paypal! Personal checks take 10 days to clear before I consider shipping.

**UPDATE**
I just learnt that eBay charges a WHOPPING $100 fee on this item if it sells. I will be cancelling the auction 1-hour before it ends as I will NOT pay a crazy fee like that on a $300 sale. Email me or contact me directly if you are interested. I cannot believe eBay charges such a high fee on a small value item. It's part of the mega company fee schedule.
