Up for auction is a 1995 Kawasaki Jet Ski, STK#182553. This watercraft has been inspected by our mechanic and was found to be running; however, the battery needs to be replaced and the prop drive has a bad shaft bearing. There may be other mechanical issues we are unaware of. The watercraft is in decent condition; there are a few scrapes and scratches on it and the seat has been covered with a tarp. With some work this would be a lot of fun in the water. The registration expired on 12/09, and there are registration back fees in the estimated amount of $61. The vehicle has a CA title. The successful high bidder must submit a non-refundable $149 deposit within 2 business days of the close of the auction to secure the item. The deposit can be made over the phone with a credit card or with PayPal. Please do not use the echeck option as it can take 7 days or more to clear.

The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due and pick up his/her item within 7 days of the close of the auction. Balance can be paid by credit card or check. Any other arrangements must be agreed to before bidding.

In order to complete all financial transactions and paperwork, the buyer MUST provide a valid form of picture identification (Passport or Driver's License). All financial transactions and paperwork must be completed before the item is released. The item's transfer paperwork must be signed by the buyer prior to pick up or shipping. The shipping company cannot sign for you. If you cannot appear in person to sign these documents we can assist you by fax or email.

Failure to follow these terms will result in items being relisted.

Cars 4 Causes is a non-profit 501 (c)3 charity. Proceeds from this sale will go to support other charities and Cars 4 Causes funded programs - such as youth education. In order for us to benefit charitable causes, the $149.00 must be collected on every transaction in order to afford our administrative costs and overhead such as postage fees, phone/internet costs and staffing at our item facilities

Any sales tax or registration/title fees are the responsibility of the buyer! Please take note of the registration status of this item and if there are back fees. If you purchase an item with back fees - you may or may not be responsible for them depending on where you register the item. If you are purchasing an item with anything other than a clear title - please be very aware that you could have problems titling and/or registering this vehicle outside of California. Paperwork is transferable through the CA DMV. If you are purchasing the vehicle from another state, please check with your local DMV about the requirements for the transfer of a vehicle with the paperwork we are providing. You may be required to apply for and obtain a CA title prior to completing registration in your state. We DO NOT register the vehicles in our name. Our titles are signed over from the donor to us. Please call your local DMV to confirm that you will not have problems registering this item out of state. We will not be responsible should you choose to bid and win without first confirming that the supplied paperwork is good in your home state/country. We DO NOT assist with titling and we DO NOT register these vehicles.

Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer - we do not offer or arrange shipping! The item must be picked up from our location in Santa Paula, CA 93060 within 7 days of the auction ending. Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the item will be registered.

Q: Can I drive this boat from its current location?
A: As with any item we sell, we do not make any guarantees as to how it will perform or what distance you can drive it. These are donated items and we have little to no history on them. They are often in need of regular maintenance that we do not perform. We strongly recommend you have your item inspected and serviced by a mechanic before driving it any distance. Should you choose to drive this item before having it inspected, you do so at your own risk.

Q: Will you sell me a part off of one of the boats you are selling?
A: No. As stated in the auction description, we do not part out items. We are not a wrecking yard. This is a donated item, and once it is on eBay, the bidders expect the car to have all the parts it was pictured as having.

Q: I would like to talk to the previous owner. Can you give me his/her contact info?
A: No. All our donor information is strictly confidential.

Q: What is the buy it now price?
A: On the rare occasion that we do a ÒBuy It NowÓ then the price will be in the auction. If there is no ÒBuy It NowÓ price then the item will sell for the high bid amount. Please do not offer or inquire about doing business outside of eBay. This is strictly against eBay Guidelines and anyone inquiring about such business will be reported to eBay.

A: No, this is not okay. We apologize for any inconvenience but we cannot commit to storing items for extended periods of time. We do not have the storage capacity to do so. Q: I see that some of your items require to be towed away on a flatbed. Can I use a tow dolly instead?
A: No you cannot. In the event that we require a item to be towed away on a flatbed then it must leave on a flatbed. No exceptions.
