DESCRIPTION

This quad is in pretty good shape. It does show signs of wear but it was built well and has been a great machine. The front end has new bushings in it, but the shocks need to be freshened up. The rear shock also could use a tune up. The quad handles great even with the shocks needing redone. The geometry of this front end is just amazing. The axle bearings are tight and swing arm bushings feel good. The motor in this quad is super strong the FCR carb helps this thing out night and day. The motor does have the typical tick that these 400?s have when you?re running high compression. It is a solid performer; and you can?t go wrong with the 426 Wiseco piston and the Hotcams cam always has been strong in a 400. The thing is usually hard to start in the cold because of the FCR carburetor not having a choke but it does have an accelerator pump so just pump the throttle a few times and she will fire. This quad has had its use but she is straight and has been well maintained and will make someone a great quad. I just need to make room in the shop for other toys.
