For Sale: 1987 Yamaha Warrior 350
I purchased this bike from someone who recently went thru the top end and the bike was in great shape to begin with (hardly ridden). This bike is so clean, the frame still has the original paint (it does have a few minor blemishes) on the frame and motor. It is obvious this bike was well maintained and hardly riden thru it's 20 years of life. Thinking I was still 21 (I?m actually 45!), I thought I needed a sport bike and when I was 21, this was the bike I always wanted. When I purchased this bike, I rebuilt this bike from the ground up, with no regards to cost including:
- New Factory White Plastics Kit from Yamaha
- New ITP Holeshot HD tires (still has whiskers!)
- New ITP Aluminum Rims
- All new front A-Arm bearings and ball joints
- All new rear swing arm bearings
- New chain guides and rollers
- New Starter Clutch
- New transmission clutch
- New rear mono shock
- New clutch and brake cables
- New Renthal handlebars
- New Fat bar rear grab bar
- New FMF Quiet 2 Exhaust with spark arrestor
- New 909 grips
- New starter/headlight/kill switch controls (left side controls)
- Rebuilt rear caliper & pads
- Rebuilt front caliper & pads
- New Recoil Pull starter (just in case!)
- New seat cover
- New 12 volt battery
- Added later model heal guards and mud flaps (safety)
- New headlight bulbs
- New key switch
- And many other misc. parts, stainless bolts, etc??
This bike runs great, starts immediately, and is a blast to ride. I am selling it because I thought I would still like this kind of bike and in reality, all I do is put around on it. All the work was done at my office by a professional expert. There are a few minor scratches on the plastic where my boots would rub the rear fender when I got on, but there is no broken plastic. Everything works perfectly, and all it needs is a rider!!!
