This Supercharger has had a mini rebuild and is ready to install. We replace the snout coupler with a new high performance CNC machined unit to remove any slop in the gear. These are made in the USA with the best oil impregnated polimer you can buy. A new double lipped front oil seal is installed. All bearings are tested and replaced if necessary. The rotors are checked for end play and clearance. Gaskets are replaced with premium Hylomar sealant. We then replace the snout oil with premium synthetic Aeroshell turbine oil.
This would be a great start for your next project. Superchargers have no lag like turbos so your power is instant! Its more like a unlimited bottle of Nitrous you never have to refill. When used with a bypass valve there is virtually no HP loss due to drag ( less than 1/3 HP ) Many people actually report an increase in MPG, this may be due to the use of a taller gear while under load and up hills. These can be mounted in any direction and many people make adapters to run carburetors off the back of them. At this price you can't go wrong! The rotors are in very good shape and the rear bearings are re-greased with premium synthetic Teflon grease. Please note we do not clean the rotors or case, they will get dirty within a few hundred miles anyway so its pointless. These superchargers will put out a very real 40%-60% boost in HP and Torque!
