You are looking at a documented three owner 1966 Mustang convertible with the original 289 V8 automatic and air conditioning. All the body panels are original. It is the original Wimbleton white with red interior.This is not a put together car. It spent the first 17 years of its life in California and is in wonderful shape. Everything works like it should. Cold A/C. It has factory disc front brakes, power steering with recent new 17 inch Torq Thrust wheels and B.F. Goodrich G-Force 235/45/17 on the rear and 235/45/17 on the front. I think they have about 1500 miles on them. I even have a new 245/45/17 G-Force spare and have the original wheels tires and spoke hub caps. The motor is the original 289. It came with a two barrel carb however I put a new edelbrock 650 performer with electric choke and a Edelbrock aluminum Performer intake for a little more power. I also installed electronic ignition. I have the original carb intake and distributor. The motor and transmission was professionally rebuilt for the previous owner and I have the receipts. As a matter of fact I have a stack of receipts for this car over the years along with the original owners manual with the original owners name filled in with a delivery date of 7/13/66. I also have a couple of registration cards for California in the original owners name for 1974 and 1975. The interior seats are original. The body is straight. Over all the paint and body is very good. The trunk and floors are original and excellent. The chrome is nice all around.The paint is several years old and is base coat clear coat. The car runs and drives wonderful and is alot of fun. You could drive it anywhere so dont be afraid if you want to drive it home. I have tried to tell you everything I could think of about the car good and bad so if your interested have at it. Im not sure if miles are original. Ask all questions before bidding.
