This auction is for a 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby tribute restomod coupe.  Title is clean and clear not a salvage.  Original California car. 

BODY/PAINT:  The body is straight.  All body panels are original and line up great.  Brand new Jet black paint with white GT striping and a GT hood.  It is a single stage paint with integrated clear.  A Shelby style decklid and Eleanor side scoops have been added as well as a Shelby Cobra pop open gas cap.  Brand new rear bumper has been installed.  The wheels are 2009 Ford Mustang GT Torq Thrust wheels size 17x8.5".  Tires are Pirelli size 225/60/17 front and rear with good tread remaining.  I still have the original 14x7" steel wheels with hubcaps that will be included with the car should the buyer want them.  Window trim and moldings are original complete and in great shape.  The glass is all complete and in good shape.  All exterior lighting is in good working order. 

MOTOR/TRANS:  Motor is the original 289.  The transmission is a C4 cruiso-matic three speed automatic.  According to previous owner the motor was rebuilt to stock specifications approximately two years ago and it runs and sounds great.  Lots of new parts were installed with rebuild including: Edelbrock Performer intake, Edelbrock Performer 600CFM carburetor, radiator.  This is a turn key car, starts up and runs great with no problems, does not run hot, knock or smoke.  Transmission shifts strong with no problems. 

INTERIOR:  Brand new black interior has been installed.  Seat covers, carpet, dash, headliner and door panels were all replaced.  Windows all roll up and down fine.  Car has a Roadmaster cassette deck.  Heater, wipers and interior lights all work fine.  Original AC car with underdash unit.  It is currently not working due to the compressor needing to reinstalled.  I have the original York compressor and brackets that will go with the car.   

SUSPENSION/UNDERCARRIAGE/TRUNK SPACE:  The suspension is all in good shape.  Power steering car.  Brakes are in good working order as well.  Drum brakes front and rear.  Car drives and brakes great.  The undercarriage is solid with no rust at all.  Trunk is solid with no rust and has been coated with OEM style spatter paint.     

Overall this a clean example of a 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby tribute restomod coupe.  Keep in mind that this is not a show car and is not being sold as such.  If you are looking for a show car look elsewhere please.  It looks great in the photos, but it is a 40 year old car and is not flawless.  This vehicle is also smog exempt.  If you do have further questions or concerns please contact me before placing a bid.  Contact number is (559)579-4963 I will be happy to answer any inquiries over the phone.
