You are looking at an original 1968 Ford Mustang convertible.  This car has been stored in a garage for several years and just recently found.  It is an original Sunlit Gold car with Nugget Gold standard interior.  It is a C code car with its original 289 V8 engine and power steering.   It still has its original C-4 cruise-O-Matic transmission and 2.79 rear end.  I put a fresh battery and some gas in it and it fired right up.  It will run and drive but I would not drive it for a long distance without some fine tuning.  It appears to be very original and the interior is actually not too bad.  The main detractor in the interior is the drivers seat is pretty worn.  It has the typical Mustang rust in the usual spots in the body and in the floors.  This is a great project car for someone wanting a great Mustang convertible, or a donor car for a Shelby clone.    The top is in pretty good shape and still has the glass rear window as noted on the Marti report.  The power top mechanism works as it should also. With a little elbow grease, this car could be driven while you restore it.   Don't miss your chance to own an original Sunlit Gold convertible at no reserve.
