This is a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am Firebird. Blue exterior with the Firebird decal and a black interior. This is a very fast car that is in every day driver condition. With a little work it could be a show car. The glass is good.  Smooth shifting automatic transmission and power steering. It has rear air shocks.

The motor has been totally rebuilt. The details for what has been replaced are:

New push-rods
New Lifters
New Crane Full Vulcrum Roller Rockers
New Prow Comp 2.02 intake 1.60 Exaust Slant plug Aluminum Heads Fully Assembled with the Steam ports drilled for the 400.
Edelbrock Performance RPM (from 0-5500 rpm) Duel plenium Airgap intake manifold "Endurashine/polished"
Edelbrock performance 4 barrel carb.
Accell Hei coil/Distributer with Curve kit
Bosch Water Pump
Pete Jackson "noisey" Timing gear
Edelbrock Polished "tall" Aluminum Valve covers
High Flow Edelbrock Air cleaner
Thermostatic clutch and Fan
Thermostat
I have changed most of the hoses(Radiator/fuel)
New Fuel Filter
Smoked Tail lights
Custom Solid Transmission lines

Headers with dual exhaust

The black interior is complete. It has full gages, seat covers, good headliner and carpet.

The body is in good shape. It has the firebird decals on the hood and the C pillars. It has ground effects front and rear. It has a rear spoiler. The wheels are KMC alloys. The tires have some rubber left. They are 225/50/15 in the front and 235/60/15 in the rear. Underneath is only surface rust. There is no rust through the body. There are some small spots of rust that could be easily fixed. The rear bumper cover could be replaced with a new cover available at many catalogue houses. I have not found any evidence of bondo. Brakes are good.
