Up for auction is a very clean 1990 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 hatchback that was stored in a garage for the last 7 years. It was started and driven about every 3 months. This summer I pulled it out and decided to drive it again and make sure everything still works and to do the required maintenance. It is mostly stock except for a few basic modifications to improve performance and drivability. A fenderwell cold air kit and headers are all that's done under the hood. It also has an off-road h-pipe and Flowmaster American Thunder cat-back exhaust. The auto trans has a baumann shift kit and the rear has been upgraded with 3.73 gears. Inside is all stock. The speakers were changed and a keyless entry with Remote Start system was installed. The windows were also tinted recently and really make the car look nice and keeps the air conditioning cold which was converted to R-134. The tires are brand new all around with the backs being slightly larger to enhance the stance of this Mustang. Brakes and shocks were also replaced within the last 6 months, along with the typical tune-up and oil changes. There also is NO rust or rot anywhere. This summer I had the car repainted for $1200 in the factory black color and it shines beautifully, especially for a 19 year old car! Driving this car is a blast. It's fast and reliable, do to everything still being mostly stock and unmodified. It handles very nicely and stops on a dime. This Mustang is also very tight for and older model and doesn't have any squeeks and rattles inherent to cars this old. This car is not a garage/trailer queen. Its is a fun, clean, stock Mustang that you can drive to work everyday. There are a couple dings and marks and the quarter window moldings are starting showing their age, but there are NO major problems whatsoever. Who ever buys this car can drive it home anywhere or I can arrange transportation if needed. I've always had a 5.0 as a second car. I am selling this car because I just found a notchback that I wanted and bought it. That means this has to go, I'm not capable of starting a stable! So I am selling this NO RESERVE.
