1967 FORD MUSTANG FASTBACK S CODE FACTORY 4 SPEED

Here?s an opportunity to own a very desirable California Built 67 Mustang S-code Fastback with a 4 speed. This car was built at the San Jose Plant in November of 1966. It left the factory as a candy apple red fastback with a 390-4V, four speed manual transmission and 3.00 standard axle. It also had console and black standard bucket seats.   It comes with a Clear Georgia title in my name and MARTI REPORT.

Drivetrain - NOM 390 professionally built to factory specs. Does not smoke, burn oil or leak fluids. Factory 4 speed transmission recently built and it also has no leaks. A new clutch was also installed. This car drives very nice with no noises or vibrations. The complete drivetrain with the exception of the rear end has been rebuilt. It retains the factory rear. There are no noises in the engine, rear or transmission. Tranny shifts firm and smooth with no grinding. Has new exhaust with factory chrome tips.   

Interior ? Car has stock interior in very nice original looking condition. New seatcovers, dashpad, front door panels, and carpet have been installed. All gauges and lights work as they should. Rear seat folds down. All original glass with passenger window having a small scratch. Rear panels are original to the car which have speakers installed in them.

Wheels and Tires ? Shown on the car are NEW 17"X 8" Eleanor style wheels with new NEXEN 245/45/ZR17 on the rear and 235/45/ZR17 on the front and are not included in this auction at this price.  The factory type wheel and new tires as shown in the last picture will come with the car. The ELEANOR wheel and tire package  above is available at my cost to the winning bidder if desired. 

Body ? Frame rails and torque boxes are solid with no issues. A passenger side floorpan  was replaced at one time. There are a few chips and dings here and there and a few blemishes where the paint has began to peel. It has a very bright shine and looks to have been repainted in the last couple of years. Basically it is a driver quality car and is not advertised as a show car.

This is a driver quality car that will show well at local shows and cruise-ins. It is a blast to drive and handles very smoothly and gets a lot of attention. It is in no way meant to be advertised as a perfect car as it is over 40 years old. I bought the car with intentions of cloning it to an ELEANOR but ended up buying another SHELBY ready to go. This car is daily driver Ready. However, It is the Perfect Prospect to be transformed/cloned into an Eleanor or Shelby GT 500 due to it is a Factory BIG BLOCK Mustang Fastback.

I do have a complete MAIER RACING ELEANOR KIT that I will sale with the car for my cost. This is far as I am concerned the best kit available for cloning an ELEANOR. This is not included in the auction price but will be available to the winning bidder.
