1994 Ford Mustang Cobra

Time Remaining:

Current Price: 6325.89

1994 Ford Mustang Cobra #3300 of 5009.  Rio red exterior with black cloth interior.  It's in excellent condition with a couple minor dings only visible from the right angle.  It has a Ford Motorsport Cobra R fiberglass hood and 96-98 tail lights.  The interior is in almost new condition, although I do not have the original Cobra floor mats.

Mods:  All the rubber bushings have been replaced with polyurethane bushings.  It has Maximum Motorsports Caster/Camber plates, strut tower brace, rear upper & lower control arms, Steeda sub frame connectors, and a K-member brace.  It's been slightly lowered with H&R sport springs and has H&R rear wheel spacers.  The exhaust is Ford Motorsport ceramic coated unequal length shorty headers, off road H pipe, 2 chamber flowmaster mufflers (I also have a Bassani X pipe with catylitic converters that I will include).

Engine:  The engine was rebuilt recently due to low compression by Scott's Auto Machine shop in Fayetteville, Ga.  It included boring the cylinders out .040 over with oversized pistons, polishing & balancing the crankshaft, new bearings (main, rod, camshaft), high volume oil pump, porting the GT-40 heads and valve job with slightly larger valves.  I also had the upper & lower intake cleaned by them.  It has a Crane 2031 camshaft with matching valve springs.  It has new timing chain, mass air meter, throttle position sensor, Idle Air Control Valve, distributor, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, Ignition coil, ignition control module, oil pressure sensor, etc.  All the seals and gaskets are new, it doesn't leak anything.  I also had the flywheel resurfaced.  It runs excellent, idles fine with the cam, and has loads of power.  It has a Power Bond harmonic balancer.

History:  I bought it about 5 years ago as my dream car.  I drove it everyday for about 2 years and then could afford a truck, since then it has been my weekend car and has been garaged or under a cover.  I have meticulous records on it and I also have a folder from the previous owner of reciepts.  I'm the third owner.  The car is very clean, all around & underneath.  The AC blows ice cold, I recently replaced the oriface tube and recharged with oil and R134.  The transmission has been rebuilt, the clutch & throw out bearing have 10k miles on them, it has new synthetic fluid.  The rear differential has the stock 3.08 gears with synthetic fluid recently replaced.  The brakes are new all around.  The front rotors are cross drilled and slotted.  It has the stock Cobra wheels with 245/45-17 Kuhmo tires with 50%+ tread left.  The car handles excellent, it is extremely tight with all the polyurethane bushings.  The rack&pinnion steering and water pump have been replaced.  The smog pump and egr system have been removed and the custom chip deleted the computer functions so it runs correctly, it recently passed emissions easily.  It has a BBK short throw shifter, Alpine CD player, tinted windows.

The car is in really good shape, it gets a lot of attention.  The red paint is very glossy.  It runs strong and has always been very reliable.  I'm selling it because I recently bought a fifth wheel camper which is better for my family.  Everything works on the car.  It's a blast to drive.  I'd rate it a 9 out of 10.  It has a couple flaws that are common with a vehicle of its age, but it will not dissapoint.  I have tons of pictures and can even make a video of it if requested.

It is for sale locally.  I'd drive it cross country with no question.  The shipping and inspection is the bidder's responsibility, but I'm willing to meet in the metro Atl area or at the airport.  I'll accept cash, check at your bank, or paypal.

Forgot to add that it also has a new starter.  And I have Maximum Motorsports full length sub-frame connectors in my garage that will go with the car.  They are the weld in rectangular style.  I bought them to replace the steeda ones that are in place because I planned on installing a panhard bar and torque arm that would attatch to the subframe connectors and I wanted to use all Maximum Motorsports.  I also have the original tail lights, the paint is faided on them but in good shape otherwise.

I added a youtube video of the car.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=soAQGdt3hAM  I pointed out the exterior flaws so there isn't any "surprises".  I'm not the best at taking videos, so excuse the quality.  I've attached all the pictures ebay will allow me, so if anyone wants more just email me and I'll send them directly to you, remember to include your email address in the question b/c I can't attach pictures in the ebay response.  Also, in one of the interior pics it appears to have a white spot on the driver's seat, it must be a glare on the camera, there aren't any spots on the seats.
