Thanks for looking. Vehicle for sale is a 1998 Ford Mustang Cobra, black exterior with black interior. I've owned it for the past two years with zero problems at all (purchased in December of 2006 with 78k miles). It just clocked 97,804 miles and runs excellent with NO leaks of any kind. Exterior is in great shape with only a few nicks here and there, which are noted in the pictures. This past summer I took a few days and worked on the car's paint, and cleaned it up the best I could. I used the Meguiar's Three Step (Paint cleaner, Polish and Tech Wax 2.0), and the results REALLY paid off. The paint (still original) is nearly a black mirror now. The rims are pretty new with two or three small nicks on them, but no curbing whatsoever. Tires have a very good amount of tread left as well, I would say upwards of 75-80% left on them (275/35/ZR18's all around). Interior is also in great shape, with zero rips or stains in the upholstery or carpet. Everything inside works great as well. Mach 460 stereo still sounds great, with no distortion in sound, even when cranked up. Power windows and locks with keyless entry are all still present and fully functional. Heater works perfect, as does the defroster. A/C blows ice cold as well. I would say both the interior and exterior are a 8.5-9 out of 10. Mechanically the car is perfect. Always up to date with oil changes, transmission shifts smooth as glass, you name it. Always adult owned and driven, never abused. I have done a decent amount of work to the car to ensure it will last a while as well. The brakes were just recently replaced, and I had the rotors changed to a higher performing slotted style, with Hawk Pads all around as well. (barely over 100 miles on these. Not even broken in yet). Drivetrain has been completely upgraded as well. New King Cobra clutch, Pressure Plate and Throw Out Bearing, Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel, Ford Racing Aluminum Driveshaft, and also a new Clutch Fork and Pivot. Stock long throw shifter has been replaced with a much better designed Steeda Tri-Ax shifter, and the stock gears in the rear end have also been replaced with Ford Racing 4.30's (as well as new bearings, gaskets and fluid in the rear end). The car has a lot more pick up, and feels a LOT better with the added parts. Very strong runner for what it is. The car also has Eibach Pro-Kit springs which lower it about 1.5 inches. Stock 17x8 wheels have all been replaced for 18x9 Steeda Ultra Light rims, which are in very good condition (bought them new). It still has the stock intake system on it, but I have added a K&N Filter to let it breathe a bit better, as well as Borla exhaust to give it a throatier exhaust tone. Car passed Smog with flying colors a few days ago, and is now completely ready for it's new owner. I'm kind of getting out of the Mustang game, and have been looking for a bigger car that has 4 doors. This car has always been a weekend driver for me, but lately it hasn't even seen the roads. It would be much better off with a person who can appreciate it for the great car it is. KBB is around $9k for this car, but Buy it Now is just $7500.
