2001 Ford Mustang Cobra Vortech Supercharged

A little history on the car. This car was purchased by a local Ford dealer in Lansing MI from a Ford Motor Company asset auction. This cobra was one of four that were used for SVT testing in Dearborn. It was one of two to survive. The dealer installed the bassani headers and exhaust as well as adding the cobra R wheels.  He then sold the car to local Ford speed junkie who in turn did the following to it:

Vortech 9PSI supercharger with air to water intercooler

Lowered the frame 1.5 inches; added eibach spring

welded the frame connectors front and rear for more sturdy under carriage

Full motor tear down, balance, blue print, and rebuild by More Power Inc of Sparta Michigan

Dual .5 inch fuel rails with 2 30ml/min fuel pumps

Racing steel crank, diamond racing pistons, federal rods and main bearings

Dyno tuned to 499 RWHP at 6200 RPM

k-20 radar jammer installed

This Cobra is one of the funnest cars I have owned.

The cobra is covered by a FOMOCO extended warranty for 2 more years and 25k miles; upgrades not included in the warranty.
