The 1967 model year Mustang was the first model to feature a major redesign with the installation of a big-block V8 engine. The overall size, interior and cargo space were increased. Exterior trim changes included concave taillights, side scoop (1967) and chrome (1968) side ornamentation, square rear-view mirrors, and usual yearly wheel and gas cap changes. The high-performance 289 option was placed behind the newer 320 hp (239 kW) 390 in (6.4 L) FE engine from the Ford Thunderbird, which was equipped with a four-barrel carburetor. Stock 390 4-speed manual transmission Mustangs were recorded quarter mile times of approximately 13 seconds and trap speeds of over 105 mph (169 km/h). During the mid-1968 model year, a drag racer for the street could be ordered with the optional 428 in (7 L) Cobra Jet engine which was officially rated at 335 hp (250 kW).

The 1967 and 1968 models discontinued the "Pony Interior" in favor of a new deluxe interior package, which included special color options, brushed stainless steel (1967) or woodgrain (1968) trim, seat buttons, a tilt steering wheel, and special interior paneling. The air-conditioning option was fully integrated into the dash, the speakers and stereo were upgraded, and unique center and overhead consoles were options. The fastback model used a fold-down seat, and the convertible was available with folding glass windows.

The California Special Mustang, or GT/CS, was visually based on the Shelby model and was only sold in Western states. Its sister, the High Country Special, was sold in Denver, Colorado. While the GT/CS was only available as a coup�, the High Country Special model was available in fastback and convertible configurations in 1966 and 1967 and only as a coup� in 1968.

Our car is a very nice driver. It features a proper 289 V-8 two-barrel engine. The exterior is the original poppy red with black deluxe interior. Power top. No rust, no wrecks. Power steering and C4 automatic transmission. This car has nice paint and interior, but some fading on the carpets. Stock wheels, good tires, and good brakes. Priced to sell, drive it anywhere. The fender tag matches the door tag. Great car for a great deal.

2. We accept Certified & Cashier's Checks and Bank transfers in US Dollars only.

3. The deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction.

4. The balance is due within 5 days of auction closure. If the deposit is not received within 48 hours of the close of auction or if the balance is not paid in full within 5 days following the close of auction, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or to sell it to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer. This does not allow you to cancel your contract, and you are still liable for damages if you breach.

5. Our goal is to continue providing quality vehicles. It is important to keep in mind that the vehicles we list are pre-owned, and it is very difficult to describe every small mark on them. As a consequence there may be additional minor wear on the vehicle that is typical of the age, such as minor superficial hairline scratches, small nicks and minor abrasions that are not indicated in this description. These factors will not detract from the overall appearance and value of the vehicle. Minor items such as cigarette lighters, manuals and CD magazines may also be missing.

6. To the best of our knowledge we have indicated any mechanical problems that are present in the description above. However, we are selling the vehicle "as is", without warranty other than any existing factory warranty that may still remain. Please inquire for details. Unless the vehicle has a remaining factory warranty, all sales are "AS-IS" with no warranty stated or implied.

7. eBay may offer some type of warranty. If so, that warranty is separate and independent of Cosmopolitan Motors, LLC.

8. Buyer pays all shipping charges. We ship locally and internationally and will be happy to assist you if you need help finding a shipping company. 10. The State of Washington shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes. Venue shall be exclusively in King County. The final contract signed between both buyer and seller shall be binding. The final signed contract and terms thereof shall govern the sale. All disputes arising out of or relating to this auction, any negotiations, the Signed agreement, or to the breach, enforcement or interpretation thereof, shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Washington, in accordance with the terms contained in the final sale agreement and under the laws of the state of Washington.

1. No bid retractions in the last 24 hours of auction please. If there are bid retractions in the last 24 hours, we may cancel all bids, end the auction early and re-list this vehicle to protect the integrity of the auction process.
