THE BADDEST AROUND

I am selling what took the better part of eight years to finalize my 1966 Shelby recreation. There is nothing more that I can do or spend my hard earned dollars on this car. It now has it all. You will not be disappointed in any way possible driving my car. It handles like a slot car on rails without any tire rub whatsoever. This GT350 is very quick as I had spent over $7500 just in the engine alone. It is very tight and the total restoration has less than 800 miles on it.

The car was completely stripped of parts before being painted with a high quality two stage Performance Acapulco Blue DuPont brand paint. Hours of block sanding went into this high end paint along with correct width and placement Shelby stripes in Wimbledon White just like the originals. After the final clear coat was added, it was color sanded and buffed out to a mirror shine. Looking down the sides it?s very straight. All the gaps are very nice. Not your average wavy sided mustang or back east rust bucket like most listed.  No Rust, Chips, Dents or Scratches to be found!

I added new wide 15x7 Shelby 10 Spoke Wheels mounted with new BFGoodrich steel belted radial tires. This wheel and tire combo is to Shelby Spec. This car is rock solid with no rust to be found. I started with a pristine original example for this build.

I replaced all the original seats with new buns and upholstery. The door panels are new. The instrument bezel, lens and glove box are new. All the interior metal was re painted to factory Shelby specs. Shelby spec roll bar and Package tray looks sweet and right at home. Windows roll up and down very smoothly. I added a personal touch by installing Auto Meter Auto-Lite II gauges. I am sure you will agree with the look.

I added side working Shelby scoops and a one piece Shelby hood. White Shelby GT350 side stripes. Front and rear chrome bumpers are re-chromed FORD, Sill Plates are FORD, seat side molding are FORD, Dash Pad is FORD, Door Handle are FORD, Interior Day/Night mirror is FORD, tail light bezels and lenses, interior door handles, window rollers, Shelby gas cap, antenna, exterior door handles and locks. All exterior lights and chrome housings are new. New trunk sleeve, new grill moldings and side Bullitt mirror. Anything that needed replacing was replaced. All new rubber door bumpers and seals. There is no AM radio. However there is a Shelby Radio Delete plate covering the stock radio hole that is not butchered out. No exterior antenna or hole for one. You won?t want to listen to anything but the engine.

DRIVETRAIN:

I had the very reputable speed shop, Service Center in Torrance CA build my V8 289 Engine with Edelbrock aluminum heads. The engine puts out around 350 HP. All the shifting linkage is new and shifts are crisp with no slop or play in the linkage.  I bought all the Total Control Suspension package from Mustangs Plus in CA and the updated power Rack and Pinion Steering system came from Total Control as well. Nothing is too good for my ride so I didn?t cut any corners!

All new wiring under the dash, engine compartment and in the trunk to eliminate any future problems. It drives so nice and smooth. It?s so dependable you could fly in and drive this car across country if need be.  There is nothing more to do to this fastback but to drive it. You cannot build a fastback like this for my reserve price. I have listed below what I have invested.
