Up for auction is a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 "M Code" Matching number Mach 1 that was restored to Concourse condition. This car is a incredible example of American Muscle car history. It has taken more then 2 1/2 years to complete this mach1 to its original condition. First for the nuts and bolts of the resto. When I decided to restore this Mach I decided that it would be a Concourse restoration project which posed some problems in locating NOS parts. I had been aquiring parts for numerous years so at least I had a head start. Just to name a few of NOS parts used; Complete front grill/Hood chrome), Original NOS gas flip down cap, all steering/suspension, front/rear bumpers, NOS Roof markers, inside/outside Door handles, Door sills, NOS fan shroud etc... I would estimate just in these parts alone here on EBay would bring quit alot of money. It would take over 100k to build this car.

So heres how it started. This car was disassembled and media blasted. The placed on a rotisserie. We then restored it to exact specifications as if it were on the factory line. All parts were either replaced buy NOS parts are OEM restored. Everything is new and nice. All markings were painted on chasis as like factory.

Engine Compartment: M code 351 4V. Original engine with correct casting numbers. All parts are original rebuilt parts to include Intake, Exhaust Manifold, Heads, Valve covers, Breather w/snorkel, Radiator, Washer Bottle, Fan, Carburaetor (Autolite 4300D).

Engine was not bored and was rebuilt to Factory Specs using Ford rebuilt kit. Engine runs nicely and is a great example of the 1960's V8 Power.

Transmission: Original 4 Speed Toploader Transmission. Rebuilt to factory Specifications. Shifts perfect.

Suspension/Steering: All Parts are NOS parts to include; Pitman Arm, idler arm, Tie rods, Control Valve etc... The Suspesnion is completely been replaced with NOS parts to include; Springs, upper/lower ball joints.

Brakes: 4 Wheel Drum brakes. Everything was completely replacd and they work great. Original NOS Master Cylinder.

Air Conditioning: All rebuilt from original OEM or NOS parts. All parts were rebuilt and painted correct Ford black.

Interior: NOS headliner (Moonskin installed). OEM carpet (Re-dyed and nice), Seats are exsceptional with Red Stripes, Sail Panels perfect. All interior pieces were sanded and painted with special Ford vinyl black paint to include dash pieces rear vinyl pieces & entire 4 speed Center Center. Overall interior is outstanding. We installed all new weatherstripping. Also has nice working Horn Rim Steering Wheel.

Exterior: Body was completely sanded down then block sanded for exact body alignment. Exterior was completely set in primer at which time entire car was lightly block sanded again.  Dupont I5 1969 Paint Code "Lime Gold " paint was sprayed on entire Exterior of Mach to include trunk & jams. Blackout hood was taped off then Dupont Clear was sprayed on entire Mach lime Gold. Correct Blackouthood treatment was adminstered on hood. Lastly Entire Exterior was wetsanded and buffed for an wonderfully brilliant shine.

Glass/Trim: All glass is original to this Mach 1 except windshield. Windshield is an exact match to original, very nice. Glass is very nice. Windshield/back glass chrome is beautiful.

Tires/Wheels: Tires are Firestone E70-14 RWL tires that were installed on this Mach from factory. Wheels are original to this Mach with beauty rings and center caps with C9 ford stamping.

Underneath: Incredible..... Painted original reddish orange color. Very Very original looking and Nice! Underneath is perfect from the front to the back . Will not be unsattisfied.

Exhaust: Original exact exhaust fron muffler to resonators with NOS dual exhaust tips.

Trunk: Nice and beautiful. Includes original jack and tire iron that has been blasted and painted correct Ford black. Also has original trunk mat.

This mach 1 is one of the nicest I have seen and I have put in 1000's of hours and more money then I can believe. I never had any intension of selling this car. I always wanted to build a concourse show car that I could take to the shows and rack up 1st place trophy's with.
