1967 Mustang Fastback ? Great Price - Not a project ? Needs Nothing

 

1967 Mustang Fastback. All original, solid (no rust, accidents). Collector owned. A Carolina and GA car it's entire life. 289 (rebuilt original), C4, power steering, black interior, 2.79 gear ratio. All numbers matching. It even has the original unrestored wheels. This is a great classic car that has not been overly restored or diced into a shelby clone, eleanor or other ? tribute ?model. Was restored by a gentlemen who had worked on the assembly line in the late 60?s building these Mustangs. I have the Marti report for this pony and have had an ?expert? go over the car.

 

This is an excellent drivers quality car that you can show. The paint is enamel (I gather was done to keep the original look of the car ? the original factory color was spring yellow). It is nice and period looking, but not a $12 - 15k paint job like on the personal Eleanors that I have had built, so the paint is not near ?show quality?. No dents or scratches or anything like that. Of course, no rust on the body, chassis or undercarriage. Perfect metal, glass and chrome. Nice interior w/ fold down rear seats. All metal body panels and powertrain are numbers matching OEM. Interior is OEM except for the carpet, headliner and steering wheel. Have the original AM radio also. The car is SOLID and is well sorted. It is super reliable, has smooth power and holds the road with aplomb. It sounds great also. Basically, this is a Great looking and driving car that anyone can get in and enjoy with no worries for years to come. Very reliable and drives excellent. No issues, no stories, EVERYTHING works. This fastback needs nothing to be enjoyed. You could easily make this a clone or tribute car or further maximize it?s potential, but I wouldn?t as it is a nice car as it is.
