I HAVE A MARTY REPORT FOR THIS BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED TRUE GT FASTBACK. IT SHOWS THAT IT CAME WITH GT OPTIONS IN HIGHLAND GREEN, 302, AUTOMATIC BUT NO DISC BRAKES AND NO POWER OPTIONS. THE 4 SPEED WAS ADDED AND DONE WRITE. IT DOES HAVE A CLEAR TITLE BUT MILES ARE EXEMPT.
THE PRIOR OWNER RESTORED THE CAR AND GAVE ME A BOX FULL OF RECIEPTS THAT ARE 3 YRS OLD OR 2000 MILES AGO. THE CAR HAD MODEST RUST ISSUES THAT HAS ALL BEEN ADDRESSED WITH NEW METAL. IT HAS HAD TONS OF NEW PARTS THROWN AT IT AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PHOTOS. BUMPERS, WEATHER STRIP KIT, SIDE LIGHTS, DOOR HANDLES INSIDE AND OUT, GT EMBLEMS AND DRIVING LIGHTS, DASH CLUSTER AND ALL THE UPHOLSTREY, AND ON AND ON. THE STRIPE IS DONE IN SILVER. SHE IS READY TO DRIVE WHERE EVER YOU WOULD LIKE TO GO. VERY RELIABLE.
PLENTY OF POWER FROM THE NON MATCHING 302 THAT HAS A DECENT SIZE CRANE CAM, EDLBROCK 4BBL AND INTAKE, HEADERS AND MORE. NOT OVER DONE SO GAS MILAGE SHOULD STILL BE IN THE 20'S.
THE INTERIOR AND PAINT SHOWS REAL NICE. PAINT IS PPG's BEST BASE/CLEAR. A WHOLE LOTA LOVE WENT IN TO THIS CAR. LIKE ALOT OF CARS THAT SIT AROUND, IT COULD USE A CARB TUNEUP. IT RUNS A LITTLE RICH BUT STILL GETS RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD WHEN YOU GET IN THE PEDDLE. OTHER THAN THAT, I CANT THINK OF A THING THAT IT REALLY NEEDS.
ALL THE WIRING LOOKS RIGHT AND IN GOOD CONDITION. THEY DID ADD AN AM/FM CASSETTE WITH THE KICK PANEL SPEAKERS.
NOTE: I HAVE THE ORIGINAL GT RIMS WITH 2OOO MILES ON TIRES. YOU HAVE A CHOICE OF THE NEW TORQ THRUST THAT ARE ON IT OR THE GT'S OR I CAN SELL THE GT,s WITH IT, ALSO.
