I have owned this car for 20 years. I bought it in 1988 and the restoration was completed in 1990. It has been driven less than 9,000 miles since then. The car has never spent a night outside and has seen very little rain and absolutely no ice or snow. The paint and interior colors are correct for the vehicle. The body Buck Tag, Door Data Plate, and Vin stamp all match. The color in the pictures looks a little off, but it is the correct, beautiful dark Candyapple Red. I ADDED THE GT PACKAGE WHEN I RESTORED THE CAR using original and NOS parts. The only parts not on the car are the A/C compressor,brackets, and hoses. I have all these items and they will be included with the car. This car is well optioned with POWER STEERING, POWER DISC BRAKES, POWER TOP, FACTORY A/C, AUTO TRANS, 4-BARREL 302 V8 (J CODE). I built the car to drive with KYB gas shocks, new springs front and rear, rebult steering box, subframe connectors, etc. The car is in EXCELLENT mechanical condition, is very tight, and drives better than any other Mustang I have ever driven. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! I am constantly maintaining and improving this car. In the last 2 years I have replaced the shocks, front springs, carburetor (Edelbrock Performer), hidden electronic ignition module, plug wires, etc... The paint is in excellent condition for being 18 years old. The only areas on the body that may need attention are some spots where the paint is lifting on the drivers side just below the stripe (see pictures). My painter thinks its due to some contaminent under the paint but not rust. There are 1 or 2 tiny bubbles under the chrome trim below the rear window, but you really need to look closely to even see them. Other than these two items...THERE IS NO RUST ANYWHERE ON THIS CAR !!!!!!!!!! The torque boxes and rockers were solid when I got the car. All the floor pans were replaced, rustproofed, and undercoated. THE COWEL DOES NOT LEAK. Other than used for proper body work, THERE IS NO BONDO IN THIS CAR!!! The top was replaced about 4 years ago and looks new. The engine,trans,steering, entire front end, and all mechanical items were rebuilt or replaced when the car was restored. The interior is in good condition. The front seats are a little faded and the dash pad has a small tear on the underside in the corner. I also replaced the cardboard trunk divider with a heavy gauge metal one for safety. If you're intrested in the car, contact me for more details.
