Placing a Bid:
Your bid constitutes a legally binding contract to purchase this vehicle. Non paying bidders will be left negative feedback and steps will be taken will be taken to recover costs to the full extent of the law. Please read eBay's User Agreement

New vehicle sales:
Manufacturers Certificates of Origin (MCO) are completed in compliance with manufactures and State/Federal Guidelines. Special new car pricing may include manufactures rebate which will be included in the sale price and is subject to your local state and Federal taxes. NEW VEHICLES ARE NOT SOLD TO CANADA DUE TO RESTRICTIONS.

Funds & Financing:
Please make sure you have free and clear funds prior to bidding. Payment can be made by cash, Cashiers check, Wire Transfer. Credit cards have $500.00 limit NO EXCEPTIONS. Personal Check may be used and vehicle is available once funds have cleared in our account. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Buyers Inspection:
While we try and accurately describe our vehicles as best as we can, these are used cars that we are dealing with. There is a chance that your car may have minor rock chips, parking lot dings or surface scratches in the paint. Anything over and above this damage we make an effort to either take a picture of the damage or note in the vehicle description. Because the car you are looking at is used, we cannot always guarantee that all keys, books, navigation disks and accessories are still with the car. Should you have specific questions as to what a car has or does not have, please call or drop us an email.
Inspection:
Preston Autoplex welcomes a buyers inspection. If you plan to have a buyers inspection, please make sure you inspect the vehicle prior to the auction ending. Inspection fees if any are Buyers responsibility.
Representations and Warranties made by seller:
Some auction vehicles are sold "AS IS". Manufacturers warranties may still apply. Extended warranty may be available, email or phone Rich at 410 829 7618 for details. No representations or warranties are made by seller, nor are any representations or warranties relied upon by bidders in making bids.
Taxes and Registration fees:
Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for vehicle to be titled and registered. In Maryland State buyers will be charged state and local taxes, title, registration, and documentary fees. Our documentation fee is $99 NO EXCEPTIONS. Out of state buyers, vehicle dealers will also be charged our documentation fee of $99 NO EXCEPTIONS.
Title Information:
Vehicles titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 25 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made by cashier's or personal checks we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared.
Shipping & Delivery:
All shipping charges are buyer's responsibility. Preston Autoplex will help with shipping arrangements but will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage. Licensed Carriers are generally insured for $3,000,000.00. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our showroom. All shipping arrangements are provided by Preston Autoplex as a courtesy. We are not affiliated with any carrier. Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the shipper, not with Preston Autoplex.
Finalizing your Purchase:
Preston Autoplex will contact the successful high bidder by e-mail after the auction closes. Successful high bidder MUST communicate with Rich at Preston Autoplex by email or phone 410 829 7618 within 24 hours of the auction ending to make arrangements to complete their transaction. If we cannot confirm your intention to buy or the sale is not completed within 2 days, we reserve the right to re list this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer.
In order to secure bid on vehicle, Successful bidder (BUYER) must within 24 hours of bid closing send to Seller a Deposit in the amount of $500 by major credit card, cash or bank certified funds. Within 72 hours of bid closing, Buyer must send balance of funds by wire transfer, cash, bank certified funds to Seller. At time of sending initial deposit, Buyer MUST fax copy of their State issued valid Driver License and vehicle insurance information (unless wholesaler). Furthermore, before said vehicle is released for shipment to Buyer, all other Sale related and title related paperwork must be signed and returned complete to Seller.
Buyer Pickup:
A representative from our dealership can be available for pickup at Baltimore Washington International Airport during office hours(BWI) when necessary: Buyers, please contact us before you book your flight to enable us to schedule your pick up four days in advance also please note the Preston Autoplex is closed on Sundays.
OUT OF STATE SALE AUCTIONS:
SOME OF OUR AUCTIONS ARE LISTED AS "OUT OF MARYLAND STATE BUYERS ONLY OR NO MD BUYERS" PLEASE NOTE, IN THESE AUCTIONS THESE VEHICLES WILL ONLY BE SOLD TO OUT OF MARYLAND STATE RESIDENTS - NO EXCEPTIONS. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL ALL NON CONFORMING BIDS IN VIOLATION OF THIS RULE. IF YOU ARE UNSURE THEN PLEASE DO ASK.

Special Ebay pricing applies only to Ebay sales and is not in conjunction with special finance rates or promotions running here at the Preston Autoplex.
Fee and Tax Information:
All buyers will be charged a $99 administration fee.Maryland buyers pay 5% sales tax and up to $300 to complete tag/title work. Out of state buyers are responsible for taxes in their own state, and will be charged $15 for a 60 day temporary tag.
