1989 Ford Mustang LX Hatchback.  Completely forged internals: crank, rods, pistons.  Ready for NOS or Boost.  The car runs great, doesn't smoke or leak anything at all.  The 5-speed transmission is the only problem with the car.  It needs a syncro replaced I believe, sometimes it's hard to shift, but it still shifts fine.  I had 3.73 gears in it, but replaced them with a more "fuel friendly" 3.08, so if you want faster acceleration, put a lower ratio in.  The car cruises comfortably at 2000 rpm at 80 and I can get 23 miles to the gallon!  Not bad for a 19 year old car.  The engine had been rebuilt previously with all forged internals including an Eagle crank and Rods, SRP  dish top pistons.  I had to put in two pillar gauges-oil and temp because my guage panel lost those two.  It has a compression ratio at around 8.0 flat. My plan was to build a turbo drag car but I'm a full-time college student and funds just are not available.  The injectors are 24#.  It has a Holley 255 gph fuel pump, e303 cam, MSD Distributor and Wires.  Stock intake, heads, throttle body and mass air meter.  Shorty headers, h-pipe and Dynomax Race Bullet mufflers that are cut off underneath before the rear axle(extremely deep tone).  The interior is in really decent shape.  The power windows work, door locks.  The maplight thingy need a bulb.  The air-lumbar support still works on both seats!  I have the original shifter knob also.  The glovebox door works fine, but it will not lock as there is no lock there.  The hatch and fuel door release buttons work.  The sunroof doesn't leak in a normal rain shower, now if its raing so hard that you cant see the road in fornt of you, you bight see a drop or two.  Car has A/C which blows cool, needs recharging.  Tilt steering with cruise but I believe the fuse needs replacing as the cruise stopped working last week.  The exterior of the car is nice, Sunroof, the headlight and turn signal housings are brand new(keep light covers on to keep from yellowing),no dents (just a couple of very small door dings), paint has a few rock chips in it, the weatherstripping is kinda old around the windows so I wouldn't recommend going through a drive in car wash.  I have always hand washed it anyway, it looks better when you finish.  I do not have a door key.  If you lock the doors by accident, I have the hatch key which you will have to climb through to the front.  I replaced the locks, but my brother lost the keys!!  The brakes are excellent.  The wheels are Weld Draglites, 15x4 in front, and 15x10 in rear and the tires have alot of tread left.  Overall, the car is in good shape, I wouldn't hesitate to drive anywhere.  Now, the radio will not win you a trophy in a car show anytime soon.  Only two speakers work, that I know of, and the radio was there when I bought the car before.  I believe its out of a f-150 or something because it doesn't quite fit as you can see from the pictures, but it works.  I never use it from the exhaust being loud.  You will not be dissapointed in this car.  Its fun, fast and ready for some boost!!
