Vehicle Description

This is a 1988 Mustang LX Convertible 5.0 with the 5 speed manual trans.� I bought this car in the summer of 2006 after I saw it sitting at a local repair shop for some time.� The car was originally a 4 cylinder and was converted to the 5.0 several years ago.� The motor�has less than 100K on it.� I went through the car from top to bottom as I had always wanted a convertible Mustang and I saw the potential this car had.� Any body imperfections were addressed and a fresh coat of the factory red paint was applied.� All of the exterior badging and emblems are brand new from Ford.� I installed a brand new carpet in addition to Flowmaster mufflers with oversize stainless tips.� The exhaust sounds like a V8 Mustang should.� It is equipped with subframe connectors, a lower chassis brace�and a strut tower brace for improved handling and structural rigidity.� The front buckets are from a newer Mustang as are the near perfect Pony rims wrapped in new 225/55 ZR16 Yokohama ES100 Directional High Performance tires.� All exterior lighting fixtures are in excellent condition.� The top is in good condition and it operates flawlessly.� Last fall before winter storage a brand new clutch, pressure plate and flywheel were installed with now less than 50 miles on them.� The car runs, drives, handles�and shifts like it should.� Since the restoration, the car has�always been�garaged and only driven in nice weather (that's what a drop top is for).� The�vehicle is located approximately 25 miles southeast of Boston, Massachusetts.� I will deliver within 50 miles of my area at no additional charge.� I reserve the right to end the auction at any time as the vehicle is offered for sale locally.� I have done my best to describe and represent this vehicle accurately.� Vehicle is sold as is/where is with no warranties either expressed or implied.� Please feel free to contact me at 617-593-0004 should you have any questions or require additional information.
