This is a 1987 Mustang Lx 5.0 Notchback

This car is a proven winner!!!!! Every show ive taken it to it has come home with at least 1 trophy.

The paint job is a custom blend that makes the blue look very dark navy when there is no sun or in the dark but when the light hits it, it turns candy burple(blue/purple). The complete nose is sprayed with 5 different candy colors to make up a very nice flame job. This is not a macco paint job.... the car was completely stripped down to the metal then sealed primed painted and cleared . Everybody line on this car is perfect and lines up like the factory did it. While in the body shop the antenna was shaved and a new custom power antenna was installed, also shaved was the trunk lock and any badges that were on the body. The car has a custom cervins "Cobra R" hood, cervins "Cobra grill", cervins "cobra rear wing" anyone who knows mustangs knows that Cervins is the best place for aftermarket body parts. I have also changed every piece of weather stripping on the car and also the headlights and clear marker lights and tail lights are all brand new. The total price of these upgrades were $12,500.00 and worth every penny.

The wheels and tires are brand new and have less than 600 miles on them. The wheels are 18" ROH "Drift R" and the tires are TOYO "T1R" performance tires. the wheels have been powder coated to match the colors of the front is the candy red and the rear is that candy blue purple. These are staggered wheel that measures 18x8.5 front and 18x10 in the back and the lips on both wheels are polished to a chrome finish to finish off the very hot look of the wheels. The tires measure 235/45/18 front and the rear is 265/40/18 and they are a top of the line performance ZR rated tire. Helping stop these big wheels are BEAR cross drilled and slotted rotors, new calipers and ceramic brake pads. The front calipers were painted red to match the wheels and the rear drums were painted purple to match the rear wheels. The suspension has completely changed and is one of the best things ive done. this car handles great and looks really well.all new shocks and struts are KYB sport series, the springs are EIBACH lowering springs which drops the car 2" from stock. The rear suspension also has SOUTHSIDE MACHINE control arms which makes launches for this car very straight. The total of all these upgrades $4,650.00

The performance modifications were done just to get the most out of stock 5.0 I did not want to go crazy as it is a show car. Just needed it to back up the bold looks so to speak. So first thing that was done was a full exhaust system which included BBK headers and a complete MAC cat back exhaust ststem complete with 3" chrome exhaust tips. the rear end was completely rebuilt and now holds a set of FORD RACING 3:73 gears. The drive shaft was changed out for an all aluminum FORD RACING driveshaft. A complete MSD Ignition system was installed complete with adjustable Rev limiter knob. A BBK COLD AIR INTAKE was installed and larger MASS AIR SENSOR to go with it.there is a larger 70 mm THROTTLE BODY,30# INJECTORS,BBK POWER PULLEYS,160 AMP altenator, and a FORD RACING COBRA UPPER AND LOWER INTAKE. There is also a FORD RACING FYL WHEEL AND CLUTCH installed, Along with a STEEDA ADJUSTABLEFIREWALL CLUTCH CABLE. The total for these upgrades $4100.00

The interor is done up to match the rest of the car. It has been treated to a brand new interor which now consists of HIGH END LUXRY BLACK CLOTH SEATS WITH RED SUEDE INSERTS. Along with the seats the HEAD LINER IS ALSO DONE IN CUSTOM BLACK CLOTH AND RED SUEDE. The DOOR PANLES AND ARMREST COVER ALSO ARE ACCENTED IN RED SUEDE. There is also a BRAND NEW BLACK RUG. The total for these upgrades $2900.00

The car also has some really cool features such as a COMPLETE HIGHWAY PATROL POLICE STROBE PACKAGE. This consists of 4 hideaway strobe lights in the front headlights 2 hideaways in the rear tail lights , 2 deck mounted dual red and blue strobe lights and a rearview mirror dual red and blue strobe light. Theselights are the same quality as the ones used by the police.The switches are in the spot where the ash tray used to be and all are lit up with either red or blue L.E.D so that you know if they are on and what function they are doing,as there are many different flash patterns that can be set. Total for these upgrades $1500.00

And to finish it off this car comes complete with competition style KICKER CAR AUDIO SOUND SYSTEM,which starts with a PIONEER RADIO AND  6 DISC IN DASH CD CHANGER, this means you have 7 cds at your finger tips at all times. KICKER 6 1/2" component speakers are in the doors with the tweeters monuted in the stock dash location. And 6x8" component speakers are monted in the rear deck with custom fit tweeters in the side panels of the back seat. In the trunk there are 2 SOLO-BARIC 8" SUBWOOFERS in seperate sealed enclousures. Powering this whole system are 2 very powerful KICKER AMPS 1 600 watt for the subs and 1 300 watt for interior speakers. These two amps pump out well over 1000 watts of pure power which makes this car sound just as amazing as it looks. All the wiring is top of the line POWER IS SUPPLIED BY 0 GAUGE POWER WIRE AND GROUND WIRE. The RCA wires are all STINGER  and there is no noise at all. To finish this all off is a CUSTOM FIBERGLASS TRIM WHICH ENCLOSES EVERYTHING PERFECTLY TO A FACTORY LIKE FIT, WHICH WAS THEN WRAPPED IN THE SAME BLACK CLOTH AND RED SUEDE TO MATCH THE INTERIOR. Total for these upgrades $5200.00

Mechanically there is nothing wrong with this car, it can be driven anywhere......Im selling it because its just time for a change and I want to do something different. I have had this car for 8yrs and it has been very good to me. So why ot let someone else enjoy it for a while too. The only minus to this car is that it was revinned by NYS dmv. This car was confiscated for drag racing over 10yrs ago and that is how it was sold at auction. This car was sold as a 1987 4cly, with no engine or tranny. They are both from a 1991 Mustang gt that was wrecked. I have the papers from the insurance company that the engine and tranny was bought from. And there are approx 98k on both, although I did completely rebuild the T5 tranny. This car is extremely clean and is a real head turner. There are 2 small dings on thencar that if i didnt point out you wouldnt even notice one on the roof and one on the side. Also the front bumper has a small spider crack in the clear I dont know how it happened as sad as I am to say that but other than those 3 things this car is great.
