1970 Mustang Mach One

            1970 Mustang Mach One for sale. Original California car all its life until I brought to New England earlier this year. I Need to reduce my collection due to time constraints on finishing other restorations so unfortunately this beauty must go on the block for sale. I have a Marti report documenting the car and what you see with exception to the front spoiler & new Magnum 500 and tires is all factory original. Only the front seats have been recovered on the interior and you can see its well kept. The 351 Cleveland performs well and had a recent top end done to it and I have the documented receipt for the work. No smoke, no skips etc. The 4 spd shifts very smoothly too! The car has power disc brakes, power steering and factory ac as well. This is the right car and right options. Although, as I was told the paint is approximately 20 years old, it still shows very well. The number of picture takers at all the shows I go to seem to jutify its beauty and it still looks pretty darn good.  This is a no excuses car being offered at a reasonable price. The magnum 500 are new as are the Firestone Firehawk tires. I will reinstall the 17? American racing rims and take a grand off the reserve price if you prefer to have them instead of the magnums.

     This Mach is rust free as can be and I cannot find anywhere on the car evidence of rust, and that includes underneath as well. The body is very straight and clean too. Again the paint is the most needy on the car is it should be repainted at some time as it has a few nicks and chips that it has acquired along the way, but is still very presentable as a driver. When I purchased the car I was told the clutch was done with about 10k on it and the front end was gone through and it is all nice and tight.  I had started returning everything back to stock and removed the MSD ( failed one day) and put a stock ( pts ) distributor back in along with a stock fuel pump, Runs great! There is a bunch of small things I have done to the car to improve it as well. Powder coated the shaker along with a new seal, restored the rear to original Mach one status with new bezels, lamps, honeycomb and chrome. Had the drivers hinges replaced, and the stripes professionally added to the rear. Note we held off on the hood assuming we would do when painted. Installed new hood chrome, new hood latches and the front spoiler. This is not a Mach that will disappoint you at all in my opinion.

I took some more pictures today outside as the sun was setting and they are better. I do believe most of the fuzzy is from light reflection as there is still some even with a much higher quality camera. Send your e-mail and I can forward to any interested party, My isp hates big files so it may require a couple of e-mails, and I have some good underneath shots as well today.
