1967 Ford Mustang Classic convertible. Original car that has undergone a complete rotisserie restoration in 1990 or so. Car was stripped to bare metal and built back like Ford did it originally. The gentleman that owns the car had a professional restoration business and built this car orginally for his wife-she hardly drove it because it was so nice! It has gotten a trophy in almost every show it was in. Any parts with rust were cut out and replaced with new sheet metal, I believe the quarters were replaced, the doors fenders hood and deck lid were dipped and resealed then painted with a stunning correct lazer straight Clearwater Aqua basecoat clearcoat paint. Interior was all redone with new parts or upholstery. Air conditioning has never been charged even though all the parts were new. Power steering, power top, automatic transmission, dealer added air, power disc brakes has all the options that could be included on this car. You could not take a car and have it restored this well for the reserve price. Doors shut with a resounding perfect click just like new! Power brakes are effortless and stop quick! Engine and automatic transmission were completely rebuilt at time of restoration. Both run and shift smoothly. Convertible top bows etc were all stripped and repainted, top has never been down since it was replaced to avoid any wrinkles. Tires were new Michelin in 1990 and have very few miles on them (I would guess 1000-2000 miles). Title is clear. USA PURCHASES ONLY!!! No foreign scams. Car needs to be picked up near Lexington, KY at time of payment and transfer must be done before car leaves owner's care. $5000.00 down payment must be made by wire transfer within week of end of auction and balance must be either wire transfer or cash in US currency. I had to specify a shipping amount to get this listed but will not ship for a dollar! Please email with any questions before bidding, I will answer all emails, NO PHONE CALLS please, email only. This is close to a number 1 car but not perfect, (for example it has undercoating on bottom over replaced sheet metal) but needs only slight attention to make it just so.
