Shelby 2007 GT500 Coupe This is a great car but I am in the market for a Ford GT so I got to make room. This Shelby is not stock by any means but I do have every stock part that came on the car when I bought it.  Shelby Dynoed 701.7 Rear Wheel Horse Power on pump gas (see videos) I am the second owner of this Shelby and after I acquired it I was satisfied with the cars performance it had tons of power, but needed some help in the traction department since the stock traction control is disabled. The charging light came on so I took the Shelby to our local Ford Dealer and under warrantee they replace the alternator, rebuild the clutch, and transmission. They told me the clutch and tranny was not right so they repaired them. After that I went and put Nitto Drags on the back, and new 555?s on the front of the stock wheels. Now the Shelby was a new car with tons of power, more traction, and it shifts awesome. Then I wanted to add some Shelby Stuff so I went to Shelby Performance and added the following:

 The Shaker 1000 Stock System is weak so I installed an Eclipse AV GPS Monitor, Custom Fiberglass sub boxes from Wicked C.A.S. ($700.00 for the pair), Alpine Subs, Alpine PDX-4.100 4-channel amp, MTX Thunder 5601 2-channel Amp, Pioneer Front Door Speakers and Focal Utopia speakers mounted in rear window. Well over $6,000.00 in after market sound equipment and it will blow you out of the car if you want it too. All the stock sound gear comes with the car.

Car is a sighed Shelby, with an additional Carroll Shelby signature on the passenger visor. All the documentation will come with the car. Also, an additional set of American Racing Special Edition Shelby Wheels 20X10 with Nitto 555?s barely used. Car has less than 9k miles on it now and less than 600 miles since the warranty work. I bought the car with less than 6K on it.

As you can see there was tons of money and time put into this Shelby and it will out run most anything out there. The power is smooth and the sound is very distinctive it likes 106 unleaded and with that fuel I would guess the rwhp is near 740. I have had it up to 140 mph and it was still pulling hard. Now with a better tuner program, all the new suspension, some race gas, to do another chassis dyno would be interesting. I have heard that these cars with a little more motor work, and a different pulley it will put down 800 rwhp. So if you are looking for a serious GT500 that has been meticulously taken care of that can surprise most street cars then bid well this Shelby has no disappointments!!
