1967 "S" CODE (390) GT MUSTANG FASTBACK!
What we have is a very straight and very powerful 1967 big block Mustang Fastback. Located below you will find video as well as photos that were taken one week ago. I would like to apologize for the car being so dirty as we had just pulled it out of the garage and were unable to get it cleaned up due to time issues. The car is 100% complete and is in good shape all the way around. These second generation Fastbacks are getting harder and harder to find let alone finding them loaded with options and being real big block GT cars. This Fastback was restored in the early 80's and then parked up until about a year ago. It was redone back to its factory correct, numbers matching specifications.
Body: This Fastback retains all of its original sheet metal. It has been repainted once which was in the early 80's and it was redone back to its factory correct color. Unfortunately, you can only see a small handful of photos from the time we had it cleaned up but the paint does shine up nicely and it was done professionally. The fenders, roof, trunk, hood, doors, shock towers, everything is solid and rust free. The only issues you will find are located on the drivers side quarter, the trunk lid, and below the passenger side floor pan. The passenger side floor pan has a small 2x6 inch area where it has began to bubble but has not gone all the way through. The trunk lid, you will find someone tried repairing two very minor spots. The quarter has some very slight bubbling on the very bottom of the quarter and could very easily be repaired. It too has not eaten through, it is only minor surface rust. The rear valance and rear bumper were missing when we obtained the car but we do have a new valance and rear bumper that will go with the car. We also have a new piece of back glass as the current glass has some minor scratches on it. All of the trim through out the car and weather stripping are in good shape and complete. All of the chrome and glass (minus the back window) are in good shape and have no major pitting or scratches. The gas tank has also been replaced with a brand new tank. The old tank had old gas in it and it just seemed easier at the time to just replace it vs risking the chance of running bad gas through the motor.
Engine & Mechanical: The 390 in this Fastback has been completely gone through. From what we have gathered, we believe it is the original 390. The motor when rebuilt did have some performance upgrades. It has less than a hundred miles on it and fires up every single time. There is no smoking, no strange noises, and it does not use an excessive amount of fluids. When you remove the heads, it looks brand new internally. We believe the motor was built intentionally to drag race but it never made it that far. The reason we have come to this conclusion is that the brake system has been changed out and has a drum setup all the way around. The C6 in this Mustang is also in excellent shape. It shifts out smoothly with zero problems and also does not use an excess amount of fluids. The car drives out as straight as an arrow and stops with ease. It does not pull or make any odd noises. We have only driven the car locally on rare occasions.
Interior: The interior as you will see is in excellent shape. There are no rips or tears through out any of the seats. The center console and dash are in good shape. All of the electrical components are also in good working order. The stereo is not hooked up and we are not sure if it works but we do have it and it will go with the car. The door panels have some slight waving to them but are in good shape. The tops sides of the doors could use a repaint as the paint has began to fade away.
Here is an excellent opportunity for any Mustang enthusiast to pick up an awesome big block Fastback that you can enjoy before Summer ends. The low retail on this Fastback is 28k and we are well below that in what we are asking. This car in my personal opinion is well over average which I'm sure, even by looking at photos most will determine the same. This car is truly a work of art and I'm sure that the first person who gets to see it in person will be more than pleased. I will gladly listen to all reasonable offers and should the right one come along then I will in fact sell the car early as we do have it for sale "locally". I strongly encourage anyone who is interested to please call or email to schedule a time to come check it out. We do have a clear title for this car. I would also like to add that I am usually on the phone from 7 AM until about 12 AM so you are always welcome to call and if I do not answer, just leave a message and I will return your call immediately. I know from my own experience with purchasing cars online, most of the time it is very difficult to get someone on the phone and to obtain the information you need. So I try to always stay on top of emails and phone calls. As always, good luck and happy bidding!
Thanks,

Overseas bidding:
We?ve sold cars in
Private Auctions: Due to a few scam artists who seem to attack serious bidders offering bogus offers with "deals to good to be true", we are forced to hide bidders identities in order to protect all interested parties! We pride ourselves on straight forward auctions loaded with information! Fraud protection:
M&M Classics is a registered LLC in the State of
Spotting Fraud: On a
few occasions overseas scam artists have used our images and descriptions to
attempt to pass our cars off as their own and dupe buyers into sending deposits.
Usually these deals are too good to be true, and for good reason. Scammers will
typically not be able to answer questions about the car, have a very low "buy it
now" price and will ask for a deposit. Once you send the
deposit they are never heard from again. If you spot one of our
vehicles or any other vehicle for sale with suspicious terms DO NOT
send the alleged seller money and please notify us immediately. We
will contact eBay security about any fraud we see, whether for our
cars or others. READ THIS PLEASE!
