The ROUSH Performance P-51A? Mustang is easily the highest horsepower Mustang that Roush has ever produced, and represents the first time that internal engine components have been upgraded by ROUSH technicians in their Livonia, Mich., facility. It was determined that the only way to give the P-51A? moniker its due was to completely break into the 4.6L, 3V and rebuild several of the functional internal components, which include a forged steel eight-bolt crankshaft, forged aluminum pistons with increased dish to lower the compression from 9:8 to 8:6, and forged steel H-Beam connecting rods. These upgraded parts were necessary for the stock Ford engine (which comes with 300 horsepower from the factory) to be able to withstand the additional power generated from the newest iteration of the legendary ROUSHcharger? supercharger system. Additional alterations include a custom aluminum upper and lower intake manifold for the high capacity air-to-water intercooler and ROUSHcharger?. ROUSH installs a custom fuel rail and high-flow fuel injectors, a high-flow capacity fuel system, as well as a dual electronic throttle body. The new ROUSH P-51A? engine has a preliminary rating of at least 510 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. torque. It is anticipated that final figures may even be slightly higher than this when final testing and calibration is approved by the ROUSH engineering staff. The changes to the ROUSH P-51A? don't end under the hood. A ROUSH aerobody kit will be installed, which includes a front fascia, chin spoiler, hood scoop and rear spoiler. The ROUSH black high-flow grill is added along with cooling side shields to give the car the aggressive look it needs while stalking the streets. Internally the car will come with ROUSH sport leather seating and custom floor mats, both with an embroidered P-51A? emblem. The white face gauges and billet aluminum pedals will get a lot of use as the driver bangs through the gears with the ROUSH short throw shift lever and retro black ball. For those who look behind the 18-inch ROUSH forged five-spoke wheels will see the vaunted Stage 3 suspension underneath this vehicle. Designed to handle even the tightest twists and turns, this suspension includes specially-engineered and tuned front struts, rear shocks, front and rear springs, front and rear sway bars and jounce bumpers. The front brakes are also upgraded with 14-inch front two-piece rotors and four-piston calipers. Each component was specifically engineered so that ride comfort was not compromised at the expense of the tremendous gains in performance.

This is my 3rd Roush Mustang (2006 Stage 1, 2007 Stage 3) and by far the most powerful and fun to drive. I custom ordered this vehicle and waited several months for it. It has every single option that a P-51A was available with including the Roush Mufflers (not standard) and the trunk mounted Tool Kit (not standard). I took delivery of the vehicle in mid August of 2008 (3 months old).

* This Vehicle has not been modified in any way. The vehicle has been serviced by the local Ford/Roush dealer where I order all my Ford Vehicles. The first service and tire rotation has been performed. She will be due shortly for her second service and tire rotation. I will have that performed when I have a winning bidder (you will recieve the vehicle with a fresh oil change and tires rotated). I am a 38 year old family man that enjoys high performance vehicles of every kind. I purchased this vehicle to drive and enjoy. I have not abused this vehicle (No Racing & No Burnouts!). This car has been driven around Naples, Florida.

          Financing - Please have your financing in place prior to bidding. If you are unsure that you will qualify for financing, please do not bid until you verify with your bank.

          Deposit - I require a non-refundable $1,000.00 deposit via Paypal or Wire Transfer within 48 hours of the close of this auction if you are the winning bidder. If you are not sure you want to own this car, do not bid. If you have questions or you would like to make arrangements to see the car prior to bidding, please contact me via E-bay and I will get back to you in a timely manner.

          Final Payment - Final payment may be in the form of a personal check (must clear before shipping or pickup) or wire transfer (must clear before shipping or pickup). Even Wire Transfers can take up to 24 hours to clear (normally just a few hours). There are no exceptions to this rule. P.S. - All non-US citizens must pay with wire transfer only!

          Shipping - I will not arrange shipping, but I will certainly work with a buyer to arrange to get the vehicle to a shipping facility. If it is convienent for me, I would be happy to do this for free. If it requires traveling a long distance, then I may have to charge a nominal fee to cover fuel and any incidentals.
