Up for auction is a very good 99% complete 1969 Ford Mustang Fastback project. i don't have to tell you how hard these cars are getting to find... This car does need restoration, but is better than most projects you see on ebay that go for $5000-6000. This one has a solid frame front to back. the back window area is mint, the roof is very nice, the trunk looks nice, the shock towers look nice, front frame as well. there is some bondo in various places on the car, mainly from shoddy bodywork/dents over the years. the floors have some spotty rust, no huge holes, but do need some attention in a couple places. The engine is a 1985 302, it is supposedly souped up with a cam, intake etc. I bought it as is, and have never heard it run. The guy i got it from daily drove it in 2004 and one day it died on the interstate due to a wiring issue. He bought a different vehicle and parked this one since. It has not been cranked in 5 years, i'm sure it will not take much to get this car back on the road, i just don't have the time for it. The interior in this car is fantastic for the age. the seats looks like mach 1 seats, no rips or tears anywhere. the door panels are in good shape, carpet very useable but faded a bit. the back seat area is nice as well. the lower dash is all there with keys etc, the upper dash pad had a couple cracks and was disposed of before i got the car, it does need a upper dash pad. The cluster and hood scoop are sitting in the trunk and go with car. The car has good centerline wheels and the tread on the front tires is still good, the drag radials on back are dry rotted from sitting and need replaced. Like i said the car is a great project car that is worthy of resto. The car is sold bill of sale only, the guy lost his title in 2004, and after 3 years in louisiana it disappears out of the system.
