Very solid, well-sorted car that drives every bit as nice as it looks. NO mechanical issues! Only 88k miles, and every indication points to those being original miles.
Clean, straight body panels with base/clear paint in the correct original color; buffed and polished to a show-car shine (see pics below).
Original #s matching 302 2bbl engine in excellent shape, and is a great fuel-efficient choice in this class of cars.
Correct deluxe blue bucket interior is in excellent condition from top to bottom.
Power steering, power disc brakes, power top, C4 automatic, working AC and heat, buckets, console, dual painted sport mirrors, new parade boot and CD stereo round out the options.
BFG Radial TAs all around, 225/60/R15, all mounted on gorgeous chrome Magnum 500 rims with correct Mustang center caps.

Cosmetic Condition:

I have included dozens of large, clear photos in good lighting to illustrate the beautiful condition of this car. Most people selling their cars won?t show this many, much less this big and up close. That's because their cars, frankly, just aren't that nice. Still, I encourage you to come see the car for yourself, as your opinion of the car as buyer is the only one that really counts.

The code 76 "Blue Glow" metallic paint is a base/clear and is in excellent condition, with a mirror-smooth finish. It's smooth, lustrous, and with few flaws. The color itself is simply breathtaking, and garners stares and compliments everywhere its taken.
Factory body lines and creases are very sharp, the various body panels fit together well. Factory body part stampings are clearly visible. Doors open and shut beautifully, and windows roll up and down and meet the top mechanism cleanly.
All windows are in excellent condition and go up and down with ease. Windshield is tinted.
The chrome rear bumper is new, and the stainless trim is all in good condition.
The convertible top is newer, including pads and the glass rear window. The power top goes up and down effortlessly, and lays neatly in the well, allowing the boot to slip on easily without having to fight it. Front latches work perfectly.
The grille, taillights, headlights, and parking light lenses and their bezels are all very nice.
Factory 15x7 chrome Magnum wheels are beautiful with perfect chrome and BF Goodrich radial TAs. They really set off the car and give it that muscle car look.

Mechanical Condition:

This Mustang is one of the most solid mechanically you'll find. Starts every time, idles smoothly, and runs excellent. Also, it doesn't leak or drip from underneath and doesn't need any work of any kind I'm aware of. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere at a moment's notice.
The 302 V8 starts quickly, and the choke and kickdown both work as they should. It idles smoothly, and emits no smoke or strange sounds. It has plenty of power to move the car quickly, but doesn't have the thirsty 4-barrel carb, which will come in handy at the gas pump.
The 3-speed automatic shifts firmly in all gears, with no slipping or clunks. The passing gear works well, and has plenty of passing power. The rear end is stock and quiet, with no grinding or unusual noise. You will be very pleased with how well the car runs.
Power steering and power disc brakes are in excellent working order.
The exhaust system, shocks, and gas tank are all newer, so no worries with those items .
Suspension is in great shape, and the car rides, drives, turns and handles with no surprises, and just as you'd expect.
The power top works perfectly, with no issues whatsoever.

Undercarriage:

I've included a number of chassis pics to show how clean and original this Mustang is. All of the frame rails are solid. The venerable Ford rear end does its job with no complaints. Best of all, there's a minimum of undercoating so you can see exactly what the car is and is not. No major leaks, either.

Clean, solid frame rails plus newer dual exhaust, gas tank, and suspension parts.

Note the clean parts and lack of gunky grime and grease--indicators of good maintenance and lack of ongoing oil leaks.

Interior Condition:

The Mustang's interior is in beautiful condition from top to bottom. The deluxe blue bucket interior features Air conditioning, PS, PDB, full length console, AM/FM/CD player in excellent working order, and newer carpet, logo floor mats, and a brand new parade boot. The interior is neat, clean, and ready to show.
The upgraded upholstery has held up very well, both front and rear. Seats are comfortable and not broken down or worn out. All seat belts are present and work.
The dash pad is very nice with no fading or warping. There is a small 1-inch depression on the passenger side, but it's quite minor. There are a couple small flaws near the center of the dash, but you'd likely not even notice them if I didn't point them out (see pics in "Flaws" section). All gauges work well, including the speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge. Wipers, turn signals, and horn all work well. Only the factory clock doesn't work.
CD player is neatly installed in the dash, and works great, along with the newer speakers installed behind the factory door grates. No holes or gawdy speakers in the rear interior panels.
Console and shifter are in like-new condition. No broken or cracked pieces.
Carpet, headliner, and sunvisors, are all in good shape. Even the underdash interior lights work!
Door panels both front and rear are clean, with no peeling, tears or major flaws.
Doors open and shut easily given how large and heavy they are. Hinges are in good shape and don't sag or drag.
Trunk compartment is clean and solid, with a newer trunk mat. No signs of patches in quarters.

Interior is in excellent original condition.

Flaws:

All pre-owned cars, no matter how well-maintained, original, or restored, and no matter how many "little old ladies" have owned them, will have some flaws. It's simply the nature of time, use, and being exposed to the environment. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either flat out lying or blind. The difference with my auctions is that I will actually tell you AND show you the ones I notice myself. If you are still in doubt about the car after reading this entire description, by all means, inspect the car for yourself. You are the best judge of a car you are going to purchase, and the only judge that really counts. While I am MUCH more thorough than most, I am human and can miss things. I can't be held responsible for the questions you don't ask or minor errors or omissions!

The paint and body on this car is beautiful, and you'll enjoy showing off the incredible color and showroom shine at every opportunity. There are no dents or any major scratches or stone chips. However, it does have a few minor flaws from normal use as all of these older classics do. It is a high quality car with a few years and a few very minor flaws on the restoration. See pics below. They take nothing away from this car. The floor pans are original and in good shape overall, but the driver's side does have a few minor perforations. All frame rails and torque boxes are rock solid and need no attention. On the interior, the only flaws are the small depression on the dash as mentioned, the minor wear on the center lower part of the dash pad, and a small 1.5 inch seam separation on the driver's seat near the base of the bottom cushion. Mechanically, this car is as good as you're going to find anywhere, period.
