You are bidding on a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1, Ultra Marine Blue in color, not original color, original color was Meadowlark Yellow.
428 Cobra Jet R Code Factory Ram Air Shaker Hood Scoop is all original as far as I know and the engine does still run very strong.
4 Speed Toploader all original with the factory shifter as far as I know and works great shifts smoothly no problems with it.
3:50 Ratio 9" non posi rear end runs quiet no problems with it.
Factory Chrome GT wheels with plain center caps and Cooper Cobra tires.
Body is in pretty good shape, straight with No major dents or Damage No major outward rust has some rust bubbles. Paint is in need of a new paint job as the original factory paint that is on the car has shrank causing the blue top coat paint to have a mapping effect look to it and also has some breaks in the paint from the shrinkage on th roof of the car. Over all I'd say its a 20 footer but up close you can clearly see it needs to be striped and repainted. The blue paint that on it now has been on it sense 1981.
Interior in pretty good shape for being original, the dash has the usual cracks around the the speaker gill and the rear seat has a tear were it is sewn together and the passengers side front carpet was cut to short in front of the seat so you can see the floor broad some but thats the way it was when I got it in March of 1987.

Mechanical problems the clutch is slipping so it needs to be replaced and the brakes could use some work as right now the front right passengers side is locking up from sitting to long. Could also use some front end work as the tires are wearing more on the inside edge than the outside edge.

I have owned this R Code Mach 1 for 21 years and it has always been garage kept during my ownership and I'm the 4th owner and the previous owner also kept it in a garage. I drove the the Mach 1 the first year I had it and then decided that I did not what to put daily driver miles on it so it became my good weather weekend fun car and then I bought my first house in 1991 and did any extra money to spend on this Mach 1 so it has been mostly sitting in my garage expect for the occasional trip around my neighborhood to keep things lube up and working. So I decided to put it up for sale here to give someone else a chance to own this Mach 1 for the right price it can be yours so happy bid and make it yours. I've tried to be as honest about my Mach 1 and think it would make a great starting point for a full restoration or can be done a little at a time.
