1965 fastback. This is a true four speed with the very desirable 289 four barrel engine. The engine is original to the mustang as well as the manual 4 speed transmission. The interior is completely restored and is beautifull. The original color of the fastback is caspian blue with light blue interior. The mustang has had new 2" dual exhaust and radiator . A local repair shop has installed new master wheel cylinders and brake pads on all four wheels. Shock absorbers are also new. Excellent mustang for someone to take over and have painted to suit your taste or drive like it is and not worry about it. I want to add that this IS a numbers matching mustang with door tag and apron matching a clear Ohio title. I also have the original carb that will also go with the car. I am going to call this mustang a very light project with the gal needing little.   PLEASE READ !!!!! Hello, I wanted to take a minute and answer some questions I have been getting on the mustang. The mustang is in PRIMER. It is not in paint. Body work has been done on the car. It is not ready for paint, it is close meaning you see nicks here and there but looks good. A person with painting knowledge will tell you it is not ready!. The mustang is however ready for more prep and blocking and touchups here and there if you have it painted. The mustang fenders are new. The trunk floor is new as well as the taillight panel. Rear frame rails were added at some point on the car and they are not rusted. front frame rails were reinforced. new wheel cylinders. The headliner is done and is new. The steering wheel has cracks. I left this because its original and can be repaired as I did with door handles. I have ignition key only. I have not had the car aligned nor have I had any front end parts serviced slashed repaired such as tie rod ends ball joints etc. Yes, you CAN drive the mustang, It is not ready for highway driving at all untill these things get checked out and you are happy with them. I would highly recomend having the brake master cylinder converted over to dual for sure. All in all someone will be getting a nice original numbers matching project thats dang nice. The gas tank is also new with sending unit and it works. I have not done a thing with the temp or oil gauge but the fuel gauge works. yes the car can be driven onto a trailer. Yes I can help load. Yes the windows roll up and down drivers door is a bit sticky from lack of use. I have probably gotten 80 emails all with great questions and I wanted to address them all so there is no confusion on the old gal.
