This auction is for a original 1965 Mustang GT Fastback. As you can see in the pictures car will need a full restoration. This car is almost complete with just a few items missing. What you see in the pictures is all I have for car. I have included pictures of trim tag along with vin number on front aprin. This car has not been on the road since 1987 (last tag). This is a very rare car and would be a great project to restore. I have taken several pictures of car so you can see the condition of car. All the frame rails are very good, but floor pans will need to be replaced. The trunk area looks good and around the back glass is nice also. The rockers look fine as does the front inner fenders. I think that the running gear is original to car. The rear end is a open rear end (not posi) . I encourage all bidders to come and inspect before bidding. Now for terms of sale. Buyer agrees to send a $500.00 deposit at end of auction. and balance with 10 days of close of auction. Buyer also agrees to arrange shipping and pick up of car. Just wanted to add that the engine is not froze up. You can turn it by hand. The transmission shifts into gear with no problems and I have additional pictures of underneath car. The transmission looks like it has never been out of car with all brackets being hooked up. Seats look very nice underneath with just surface rust.

I just wanted to add that it has been brought to my attention this may not be a GT. I know it is a A code car. It has the round top brake master cyclinder, factory fog light switch in dash, trumpet exhaust tips, but it has drum front brakes. You be the judge, I know it is ivey green, with white pony interior, factory 4 speed, and 289 4 barrell car by the codes. I am not a mustang specialist so you be the judge.

I have installed 4 good tires on car that hold air, but will need a winch to load car on trailer, right front wheel want turn.
