Up for bid is this 1970 Mustang Sportroof with 118,000 original miles on it. Car is Original red with Black interior - 351 Cleveland with Automatic - Power Steering, Disc Brakes and a 9 inch Rear End.....The 351 Cleveland was rebuilt 23 years ago and never put back in the car..Will need to be opened up and checked out since it has been setting for so long.He gave me a list of new items - New Cam Bearings, Lifter,Rod, Main,Rings,Timing Chain,Valves Ground,Hot Tanked,Rod Bearings,Crank Bearing...I dont have time to restore the car, time for it to go to someone who does. Bought it off of a family who bought it new in 1970. It has never been wrecked and all panels line up like they should. Drivers side quarter is the worst spot - has had work done on it sometime in the past.Will need floors but the frame rails are good - only surface rusted - no blisters...The interior is still pretty nice, seats could pass for near new as they have no tears in them..Headliner,Carpet, and Dash(cracked) need replaced.Car was built in Metuchen.
