2004 Honda CRF250R Motocross bike
Nicest on ebay guranteed!!!
All brand new parts!
Brand new 2000.00 race motor!
I am very sad to see this day come, but my family comes first. This is a no bs auction unlike half the guys on here saying they never road it "Hard", my first question would be then well why did you buy it then? A motocross bike is made to be rode hard, since that is the only way you will win. Just one of my pet peeves i have been seeing here on ebay, sorry!
This is a 2004 Honda crf250r. This is honda's race bike that was made to compete with the 125cc 2 stroke class. Four strokes have taken the two strokes by storm and this is the bike to have now.
Now for what makes this bike stand out from the other!!!:
I bought this bike awhile ago, and as you can tell probably never ran it. I'm not into motocross, i just like riding. I haven't had a dirt bike for awhile and wanted to see how these new hi-performance 4 strokes where. So i went out and got one. I couldn't pass this one up you can look at a bike and see what kind of life it had, well this one obliviously had a good one. I bought it off a friend who has a dealership. He knew what all it had been thru since he did all the work on it. The only thing that the boy had done to it was that he blew it up. So they put a new crank, rod, and piston. Well apparently they didn't put the rod into spec. So a few weeks ago i went to go riding and it was froze up. took it apart and found out that exactly what i thought happen did. The rod wore out the crank bearing on the rod. SO i went to the honda dealership and got everything i needed so i knew i wouldn't have to put anything else into it.
I ordered (all honda OEM) crank with rod already in spec, honda piston, honda ring, full(upper & lower) gasket set, and while i was there my friend sold me a new head that someone never came to pick up. I did this because i was worried that the valves weren't seating right. I walked out of there spends 1475.00 just in parts! I then took it to another friend that is a honda certified technician to have it put together. Everything went together without any problems. got home put the entire bike back together drove it down the road a few times just to break it in. I would really like to see a few more hours of break-in before you go tearing on it. I rebuilt this bike with all intention on keeping. Now i am kicking my self because i would of done it ALOT cheaper if it was going to be sold.
The bike will star up on first or second kick. it has no problems at all and is like getting a brand new but better bike! THe clutch doesn't slip and the tranny shifts like butter. I have always used honda gn4 oil for oil changes. I have also change the oil after EVERY ride and changed the filter after every other. This is how meticulous i am! I also cleaned the air filter after every ride. I never really tore on the bike as much as i should of! IT is fast though!
The bike looks brand new. There are a few scratches from riding, but that is it. The bike has a n-style grafics package and the n-style gripper seat, the seat has honda on both sides of it. The seat really does help you grab the bike. all graphics are on there very nice look like stock graphics. You will notice no numbers on the number plates, you ask why? The reasons is because i have never raced the bike(EVER). The bike has new front and rear tires. They have had very little use. None of the plastic is bent or cracked, no stress lines are present. The chain has always been waxand kept adjusted to spec. The brake pads are new. The exhaust is a stock unit, which is plenty loud. The bike has renthal bars on it. The grips are alright, you wouldn't have to replace them but i'm such a neat freak i probably would. The bike has a MSR clutch adjustment on it, so you can do on the fly fast clutch adjustments. The air box is stock with a K & N Filter, which is reusable!. The frame is in "Brand new" condition, while i had the motor out i cleaned it up even better then normal. The front Showa shocks where just rebuilt and set uo for 190lb rider( $875)
I have over $6000 in the bike, and all of the being spent in the last year. This bike is ready for whoever, i just hope they take care of it like i did! I'm sad to see it go!
