On returns, Global Market Connection will refund the purchase price of the item less shipping costs incurred.  For items purchased which included Free Shipping, we will refund your purchase price less the cost of our shipping charges incurred.  Global Market Connection does not refund return shipping costs unless we have made an error in the listing.  In this case, we will allow a return and refund the full price of your purchase including return shipping or we will issue a call tag if the item was delivered by UPS.

Please note that on certain items, Global Market Connection is required by our vendor to charge a restocking fee.  Unless specified in the listing, there is no restocking fee.

Global Market Connection strives to package items with quality materials, but occassionally an item is damaged while in the carrier's possession.  Should this happen, please keep all packaging materials.  They will be necessary to file and process your claim.  You must initiate the claim for damage with the carrier.  They will contact us with instructions as to what they need to process and approve the claim.  Once the claim is approved, we will refund the amount of your claim and wait for the carrier to reimburse us.

Please note that claims are paid in proportion to the amount of your total purchase price.  For example, if you purchase a China Set for $400 and a plate is damaged, you will receive a proportional refund in relation to the value of that piece vs what the total purchase price was.  The claim is not paid on the replacement cost of the item unless you purchase additional insurance.
