Here we have a restored 1970 Boss 302 Mustang Fastback in the very desirable bright yellow.  This Ford car was originally equipped with the powerful Boss 302 engine and a Toploader 4 Speed Close Ratio Manual Transmission.  The previous owner was unable to complete the restoration project, and we picked it up.  After a complete reconditioning we offer this to you in turn-key condition.  For the joy of owning and driving a piece of Ford's Racing heritage, an investment that can only go up in value, this car defines Muscle car History.

This car has been disassembled from top to bottom, from mechanical to paint to interior, it has all been reconditioned. First, the Boss 302 engine with D0ZB heads and intake, D1ZB Block (.20 under) and Crank (10/20) includes new TRW forged pistons and a complete overhaul kit.  The correct Close-ratio Toploader transmission has been rebuilt, and the 391 31-spline nodular positraction rear end has also seen a rebuild.  A fresh Holley carb, new starter, plug wires, plugs, as well as the shaker are all comparable replacements.

The exterior of the car has been stripped of all previous paint, and panels replaced to eliminate rust versus covering with fillers.  Primed with a quality sealer and piece-painted before assembly, then receiving alignments and a final coat to blend all panels together and ensure a proper fit and finish.  Floor pans and underside have been brought back to solid structural integrity, and will not flex or tweak.  All trim, weather stripping, lights, moldings, etc have been replaced with high-quality original parts or comparable aftermarkets to ensure proper look, fit, and function.  Looks great, runs great, and we are sure that you will enjoy it.

As to the interior, we have replaced the dashpad, carpeting, headliner, door panels, center console, fold-down seat trim, and a host of other items which were worn or tattered before we gave the interior the paint attention it needed to bring all of these new parts together.  All lights and other accessories include Tach and gauges are all in proper working condition.  The radio and interior lighting is as Ford designed with the fit and finish on panels and upholstery appropriate to the design and the desired look.  No rips or tears, it all looks clean.

Mechanically this car runs fine, and will provide the enjoyment you'd expect from this class of vehicle.  We hope you understand that this is not the common daily driver.  This car was engineered with more power and a competition suspension with staggered shocks, heavier sway bars, and general cornering and overall handling advantages Ford achieved with these factory racers.  This complete car has all the appeal of a demo on the showroom floor, and will bring the new owner the same pleasure that a buyer would have enjoyed back in 1970 when the car was brand new.  Every wanted a head-turning car that will command a great deal of attention at a weekend club event?  This Boss has the curb appeal and all the right equipment to get you the attention and respect of those familiar with this generation of Muscle Cars, and those who wish they were you.
