Up for NO RESERVE auction is a very Rare Original Used 1968 Paxton White Supercharger Kit for a 65-70 Shelby or Mustang. Starting Price is set at $2000. This is an opportunity to own a real piece of Shelby history. The kit fits older Ford Small Block engines, 289/302, A,C,K, or J code engines. You will receive everything pictured: Paxton Supercharger Unit, Crank Pulley, Tensioner, Inlet Pipe, Outlet Pipe, Air Box, Belt, Bolts, Carter Fuel Pump, and the original Paxton Boost gauges. I purchased the unit about 2 1/2 years ago from the previous owner who removed the unit before selling his car. The unit is solid, in very good original condition, and has been in storage since I acquired it. Prior to that I honestly don't know how much use it has seen but everything turns smoothly and shows no signs of excessive wear or damage.

From another ebayer I found out that the serial number matches records for the unit being built Aug. 11 1967;"The date your unit was made is Aug. 11 1967 and the invoice # for the head unit was 1763. I looked up the serial #, it is the real thing and has the correct date code."

I also found this on a Shelby web page; "The GT350's were powered with Ford's new 302 4v (J Code Engine). The stock engine was rated at 250 hp. An aluminum, high velocity, high volume, Cobra hi-rise manifold handled a Holley 4 barrel carb. The Holley was an advanced design cathedral float four barrel. Shelby American did offer a unique option for the small block version. You could get a Paxton supercharger which increased the horsepower by 40% to about 335 horse. Big block horsepower from a small block Ford. For a few dollars more though, the buyer could get a GT500, so very few superchargers were actually installed." From this it sounds like there weren't that many of these original units produced and installed. This is a perfect touch to add originality and uniqueness to a 1968 restoration, shelby clone, or restomod.

I have tried to depict the unit as accurately as possible, including the serial numbers for the parts included. All sales are final with no implied warranty. Payment is due within 5 days of auction end. Thanks for looking.
