Sea Doo 2003 GTX 4-TEC Supercharged 185HP Riva - NO RES
Vehicle Description
This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION! Highest bidder over $1.00 gets it!!!!!
You are bidding on the above pictured 2003 SeaDoo GTX 4TEC Supercharged 4-stroke jet ski with over $2,500 in Riva Racing aftermarket upgrades.
This is one awesome ski! Watch the video below for a full walkaround and to hear her running.
This ski has the four stroke 1494cc supercharged engine putting out 185HP. It has a closed-loop cooling system so it uses coolant, just like a car, rather than running seawater through your engine to cool it.
It has the following upgrades: - Solas 13/16 impeller - Riva Racing air intake system - Riva Racing exhaust - Riva Racing oil cooler - HydroTurf mats (missing one piece on right footwell) - Rear step bar - Riva Racing ballistic nylon seats - Carbon fiber glove-box lid & handlebar trim - Stainless steel tie down eyes on rear corners - Breather screens in rear of engine compartment - 350GPM bilge pump with hardwired switch in glove box
Work recently done (late September 2009): - Brand new drive shaft - Brand new wear ring - Brand new driveline seals (carbon ring, boot etc.) - Manifold air temp sensor replaced - New starter solenoid - full detail and buffing out of gel coat
The ski runs perfectly and starts every time with no hesitation. It has a throaty growl that sounds awesome! I maintain it well. I always flush the exhaust, wash it down, and spray the engine down with CRC Marine (anti-corrosion lube) after every single ride. It is a 67 MPH ski depending on weight of riders, water conditions etc. I honestly love this ski and would love to keep it if I could afford to.
Cosmetically it is in good condition. The usual wear & tear for a ski: some minor scratches here & there, missing rear left corner bumper ($10 part). Speed sensor is dying and will need to be replaced sometime soon (it has been measuring wrong by about 8-10mph for the last 3 months and now sometimes doesn't register at all). $100 part new ($30-40 used) and easy install.
Sale includes Performance trailer (the one pictured in the very last photo) and a brand new SeaDoo strapless, trailerable cover (pictured).
The ski is worth easily over $7,000. Kelly Blue Book says the ski should sell for $5480 stock, not counting the $2,500 plus of upgrades I have in it.
