1. Your bid constitutes a legally binding contract to purchase this vehicle. Please do not bid if you're not seriously interested or financially able to purchase this vehicle.
2. The Napleton Auto Group reserves the right to obtain and verify the registered information of all users who bid on this auction and cancel any and all bids at our discretion, or end the auction early if the vehicle should no longer be available for sale.
3. Bidders Age: You must be 18 years of age or older to Bid.
4. Trade In's: Unfortunately, The Napleton Auto Group cannot accept any trade-in's in lieu of or as partial payment of any auction.
5. Financing Options: Financing may be available for most cars, but any financing arrangements made by The Napleton Auto Group must be completed prior to bidding. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 2000 or with more than 100K miles. If you are arranging your own financing, make sure your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. If you have any questions, or would like help in arranging a pre-approved loan, please call us prior to bidding.
6. Buyers Inspection: The Napleton Auto Group has done our best to disclose all information known about this vehicle for auction. The Napleton Auto Group welcomes a buyers inspection. If you plan to have a buyers inspection, please make sure you arrange for the vehicle to be inspected prior to the auction ending. Inspection fees, if any, will be the Buyers responsibility.
7. Representations and Warranties made by the Seller: This vehicle is being sold "as is". Manufacturers warranties may still apply, and extended warranties may be available. No representations or warranties are made by the seller, nor should any representations or warranties be relied upon by bidders in making bids. Please call us with any questions.
8. Taxes and Registration Fees: A $150.00 documentary fee will be assigned on all sold vehicles. For Illinois residents, The Napleton Auto Group will also collect all local and state sales taxes and license fees. Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for vehicle to be titled and registered. Please email or call us for more specific information.
9. Title Information: In the State of Illinois, titles to vehicles are held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original titles of up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle loan off. While we usually have all titles in our possession prior to the end of the auction, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. The Napleton Auto Group guarantees clean titles on all our vehicles, if payment is made by cashier's or personal check, we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared.
10. Shipping and Delivery: All shipping charges and arrangements are the Buyer's responsibility. The Napleton Auto Group will gladly help with any shipping arrangements but will not be responsible for any damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our showroom or any claims arising from shipping damage. Any assistance with shipping arrangements are provided by The Napleton Auto Group as a courtesy. The Napleton Auto Group is not affiliated with any carrier. Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the shipper, not with The Napleton Auto Group. Delivery time is dependent on the carrier, but is generally 7-14 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our facility until it is delivered to your destination. Please verify the estimated time of arrival with the shipper.
11. Finalizing your Purchase: The Napleton Auto Group will notify the successful high bidder by e-mail within two hours after the auction closes. Successful high bidders MUST contact The Napleton Auto Group within 24 hours of the auction's end to make arrangements for completing the purchase. If we cannot confirm your intent to buy or the sale is not completed within 5 days, we reserve the right to relist the vehicle or sell to any other qualified bidder/buyer. In order to secure the bid on the vehicle, successful bidders (BUYER) must send a $1000 non-refundable deposit to the The Napleton Auto Group within 48 hours of the close of the auction. Deposits may be in the form of cash, or certified/cashier's check. The remaining balance must be sent within 5 days of the close of the auction by wire transfer, cash, or bank certified funds to The Napleton Auto Group. Also at the time the initial deposit is made, the Buyer MUST fax copy of their State issued valid Driver's License to the The Napleton Auto Group. Furthermore, before any vehicle is released for shipment to Buyer, all sale related and title related paperwork must be signed and returned complete to The Napleton Auto Group.
