LOOK FAMILIAR? Only if you have seen this one! I have for sale a one of a kind 1989 MUSTANG GT 5.0 H.O.convertible rat rod. This car has a very unique gfx body kit that was professionally installed.I bought this car on ebay in early 2007 and drove it locally for about six months.I love the car but in my opinion it needs a really cool custom scoop to balance it out(not a cowl,to plain for this car),cut outs and a custom paint job with lots of chrome! ( I was going to do gloss black with chrome ).I had big plans for this car but tough times force me to sell.It needs some work ,but has huge potential.i am going to miss her.This car sounds tough.It runs and shifts fine.It can be driven with a little work,but it really needs to be redone and made awsome again.I drove the car the other day,but its been siting since last fall and sometimes it will not start do to a short in the ignition system.Its nothing mechanical,definately electrical.I gurantee there is nothing wrong with the motor or transmission.The car has wiring issues,the windows and top do not work and sometimes when you turn the ignition the dash lights and everything go dead(thats why it will not start all the time part of electrical issues short on ignition system somewhere),i put the top down manually. The interior is rough and the body has some stress cracks in the fiberglass.please understand this car needs minor work to drive locally as a fun toy  or rat rod,but will need a lot more work to be a show car or daily driver.I drove the car to a local swap meet last year and had tons of offers on the car,but I had no intentions of selling it.It definately turns heads and if someone with vision gets her, she will no doubt be a show stopper! I was told by someone in MN.that the body kit was 5,000.00 installed in the early 90's.The car also has a clean auto check vehical history report . alot of money was put into her at one time and with a little more she can be better than before! I have a low reserve on this car( less than when I bought it on ebay last year) and must sell.
