Ford Mustang, 5.0 engine, 5speed, Notchback Coupe (notch, trunk model) year 1990. Strawberry Red exterior.



Highlights:
-This is originally an Arizona car, so there is no black tar under carriage spray, making this lighter than most other notch backs.
-Frame is completely straight and flawless. Original torque boxes are 100% (not torn or welded/fixed) as with so many other mustangs.
-On my last trip to California, I averaged 22-23mpg on regular 87 gas
-Many upgrades and newer parts... very fast, and has lots more left in her if you tune more aggressively.



Engine/Drivetrain
-New engine with less than 53K miles on it (200,6xx currently on chassis, but you would never know it to look at her). Really the prettiest fox frame I have ever seen! (I drive her, so mileage may increase a bit)
-Fully built 306 w/ DSS flat top pistons (friction coated on skirts and thermal coated on tops), reconditioned stock rods with ARP bolts
-SFI Balancer
-Trick Flow TW heads, ported, chambers polished
-Trick Flow Track Heat intake
-Ford Motorsports 24lb injectors
-Trick Flow Stage 1 cam
-MSD Billet distributor and 8.8 plug wires
-Crane ignition box
-Recently replaced starter with smaller, stronger, lighter, later model gear reduction version
-Recently replaced alternator with 110A 3G version
-Recently replaced battery (battery is relocated in trunk with Taylor aluminum box)
-Stock T5 transmission (shifts smooth like butter, with no issues)
-Newer King Cobra clutch (was working great, but with my recent retune (fattened her up a bit) I found lots of power and am pushing its limits).
-New O2 sensors on 7-21-08
-Ford Motorsports aluminum driveshaft
-Stock 8.8 rearend (recently replaced rear lube and friction modifier). Factory 2.73 gears and traction lock intact. Great gas mileage.
-Ford Motorsports aluminum radiator
-Ford Motorsports AIR pump eliminator
-Recently replaced A/C compressor and high pressure line (blows cold, I recall the heater is disconnected).
-MAC cold air kit
-Pro-M Uni MAF sensor (set up for 24lb injectors)
-Recently replaced fuel pump with 255lph Walbro pump
-Morosso track oil pan
-Steering rack has a small leak, works fine, but I got an entirely new/refurbished rack and will include it
-TwEECer R/T tuner. I have her running very strong by tuning the MAF maps, but have not tuned timing yet (much more power to be found there, but currently she halls but on 87 octane). She tends to die a bit on deceleration, but I am looking into fixing this prior to sale, as it would just be a tuning change... She is great and totally drivable as is, but with a bit of professional tune, I have no doubt she would become a monster...



Body ? Strawberry red color
-Arizona car, rust free.
-NO FRAME DAMAGE
-GT front bumper with Cobra grill insert (all painted stock strawberry color)
-H.O Fibertrends 1.5? fiberglass cowl hood (painted stock strawberry color)
-Newer 91 front fenders (fit larger wheels)
-Minor damage to driver side right behind door, and the usual stuff you would expect with miles (little dings and imperfections here and there)... The front end was recently painted to match up the fenders and the hood, but Trunk and Roof still need touch up.
-Aftermarket crystal clear headlights
Roof and trunk are oxidized, could use repaint. I tried to clean it off, but took off some paint in the process.



Exhaust
-BBK shorty headers
-Aftermarket X-pipe (2.5?) (no cats)
-Flowmaster 2.5? 3-chamber cat-back exhaust with turn downs so you can fit some bigger tires



Interior
-Originally a red interior car, many things have already been converted to grey/black (parts and paint)
-Headliner looks new
-Corbeau TRS seats installed in grey cloth
-Titanium grey carpet
-Overall decent, but needs some work (I am in the process of fixing up interior a bit more)
armrest delete
has functional rear seat, one rear safety belt wont release/needs attention.

Suspension/Tire
-Stock wheels and 235/60 15 tires (has rubber)
-Stock springs, lowered about 1.5?



Car has clean title, runs good, has cold A/C and comes with a few extras including:
-Stock catted H-pipe
-New (never installed) remanufactured steering rack including lines to and from power steering box
-Has an upgraded CD/Stereo

Just tonight, 7-29-08 I snapped a few more pictures. It just rained so she got a bit dirty, but you get the idea. I refinished the rear interior, and have not done the front yet,.. I do have most all of the parts and additional material to finish it up however. Note the minor damage on drivers side behind the door.
