You are bidding on a 1978 Ford Mustang II Ghia Sport Coupe 2-door hardtop. ?Mustang II Ghia is proof-positive that you can get all the elegance and luxury you want in a small car. You can savor Ghia?s sleek stylish lines. Experience its superb handling, the way it grips the road, and its overall comfort.? ? Ford 1978
This 47k original mile Mustang II is equipped with:
302 (5.0 liters) V8 engine; 4.00" bore x 3.00" stroke/8.4:1 compression ratio; 2-barrel Motorcraft carburetor; hydraulic valve lifters; SelectShift 3-speed Automatic transmission; rack an pinion power steering; power brakes (10.4? disk in the front & 9?drum in the rear); new catalytic converter; heater/defroster; A/C (needs recharge); Mustang factory radio; remote control outside mirrors; original deluxe rally wheel covers.
This one owner Mustang II starts and runs very smoothly with lots of power. It drives and handles well and cruises effortlessly. It has just passed the California Smog test. The tires on this 96 inch wheelbase Ghia are brand new with even wear. All electrical features work.
The Sport Coupe is OEM White. It is rust free. The sporty Chamois, leather grained vinyl top is in original shape with no rips or signs of rust but looks dry from the California sun. There are some very small road scratches on the passenger side (see pics). The headlights, turn signals, and rear tail lamps all work.
The highly optioned and sporty Chamois interior shows very little wear, with the exception of the driver seat. The Wilshire Cloth/ Vinyl seats, original carpet, headliner, dash, and vinyl trim look very good. This lovingly cared for; numbers-matching vehicle has been a non-smoking car and is odor free.
