Vehicle Description

Hello,

Up for bids is a Black on Black 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 with a 428-4V CJ Non-Ram Air with a manual (4) four speed to boot.  Straight up - this car is awesome and in excellent shape.  One of the best mustangs out there.

The serial number is 9T02Q138204. I have a free and clear title on this awesome mustang.  This Ford Mustang was built in Metuchen and is painted with Black Jade paint with blackout hood treatment.  The axle ratio is standard at 3.50 and is equiped with a four speed.  This Mach 1 has black interior too.  You got to love black on black.

The car is equipped with new tires that were installed on the car about at the 11,000 mile point.  I installed P125/65R15 (95s) m/s BF Goodrich on the front.  Further, I installed P255/60R15 (102s) m/s BF Goodrich on the rear.   These tires have the traction and provide an excellent ride.

Also, this car is being sold with a copy of the MartiAutoWorks deluxe report and all the receipts / photos of the restoration.  I do not know how many miles were on the car before the rebuild.  However, the mileage was set at zero - after the work was complete.  The car has 13,700 miles on the rebuild...  Which includes the engine, transmission, paint job, new exhaust and the list goes on and on...

Like I mentioned - this 1969 Ford Mustang is awesome.  It always turns heads when it is seen and/or heard.  This car drives like a dream too...  It is fast and powerful...  I have had it cruising at 65 mph on the highway and it is smooth..  Further, I have had the car going over 100 mph and it handles incredible.  I point out that the car has no power steering...  It is still easy to drive and it turns on a dime.

Further, I am selling the car (which is free and clear) to pay for a new horse building that will be built on our small horse ranch.  I do love this car - but I have to make a business choice.  So - the car has got to go.  I am listing this car with a reserve.  I have owned this car for about 2.5 years.  All the time it has been with me - the car has been driven on occasion (to keep it in excellent condition) and has been kept in a gated storage unit (with a dust cover).  And yes - the $250.00 dollar cover goes with the car too.

At this time - I want to point out a few items of interest about the car.  First of all, the radio stopped working when I bought the car and I have never messed with it..  There are brand new speakers in the car that were bought by me because I thought that was the problem.  The dash has never been cut and I would recommend a professional installer remove and install your new raido.  Secondly, I have only noticed a slight steering wheel shake over 105 mph...  I am not a mechanic - but I did have the local Ford Dealership look at and they refused to work on this type of car...  So - i just left it...  Anyway - that is the only 2 concerns I have had with the car.  If you are a mechanic - you will be able to fix these two items...

By the way - here are a few terms for the auction.  I need have $1,000.00 depostied in my Pay-Pal account for a deposit within 12 hours if your the winning bidder.  Further, the remaining balance needs to be paid for before the car is picked up or shipped out of here.  Payment needs to be with a wire-transfere or cashiers check.  Please make arrangements to pick-up the car with-in 7 days.  However, I can work with you - if you need more time.  The car is safe, clean and doesn't take up to much room anyway.  Also, I can assist you with car hauler companies that can pick-up the car and have it deleivered to you.  I done it this way - and the carriers had insurance too.  I had no challenges what so ever.  You can also - come by and view the car if you like.  The car is located in Bloomington, Indiana.  We welcome and love visitors on our horse ranch...

So - let the bidding begin and don't let this Bad Ass Mustang Pass you buy.

On Jul-23-08 at 03:35:12 PDT, seller added the following information:

I got a few emails asking if the car is nubers matching.  The car is matching numbers and I have added the photo of Marti Report.  The report show that the car was ordered from the factory with blcak jad and with a blacked out hood.  The car was restored as closely as possible as it was scheduled to be builit on November 19, 1968.  Also, the car comes with all the receipts of all the work that was done.  There is orginal sheet metal on the car..  However, I was asked if there was any weldong for the body.  The photos that came with the car whan I purchased it doesn't show any...  I do know that the car was professionaly restored and this car is turn key (except the radio).
