Vehicle Description

Finish my Project. I'm getting too old and tired, so all it does is gather dust in my shop. I repeat, it is dusty. It does need a new paint job. This is the second paint job on a 36 year old car and it is about 20 years old. I did not want to sugarcoat anything so I took the pictures as it sits today. I was putting in the new LED dash light kit when I stopped. I fired her up this morning and she sounds strong. I bought the car in 1994 while stationed in California. It has a California title, but not an Alabama title since they do not issue titles for cars made before 1974. It has the 351 Cleveland Q code engine. If I knew how to check matching numbers I would. I have checked the VIN code. The car was delivered to LA in March, 1972. It was originally grabber blue. It is an original Mach1. It has the deluxe interior package. I have put less than 6000 miles on it and most of that was driving from California towing a boat in 1995. Drove like a champ. I have removed the AC, but have all the parts to reinstall. I replaced the original braces, but have them. I removed the CA emissions stuff, but have it. I replaced the original valve covers and breather with Ford Racing aluminum covers, but I have the old ones. It had Cragar SS wheels when I bought it, but I have replaced with new after market Magnum 500's and new Firestone tires. I do not have the Cragars. It did not have the ram air intake system installed when I bought it, so I do not have it, but it does have the NASA hood. I replaced the alternator with a chrome one, but have the original. The interior has an AM/FM 8 Track, and yes it worked the last time I checked it. I even have some tapes I will throw in if you remind me. I have installed a new door panel on the drivers side, and have the passenger one, but it is not installed. I have removed the wood grain vinyl from the door panels and center console, and have a roll of wood grain vinyl for you to replace it with. The clock worked when I bought the car, but doesn't now. The wires in the picture are a harness for a modern radio I have mounted in the console compartment as to not take away from the original look.  The drivers seat cover needs repaired or replaced (see pic) See all the pics that show paint flaws. The hood has a wrinkle on the underside of the leading edge. (see pic) Ask any and all questions prior to bidding. A good paint job and a few hours work would give some one a great vintage muscle car or investment if selling.  It does have a a couple of small static leaks, probably due to dry seals from sitting. This is an original. Even Ford has returned to the body style. If I finished the restoration it would be much more. Please note I am not giving this baby away so bid accordingly if you are serious about purchasing. No shipping. Pick up only. Bank to bank transfer or cash only. Sold as is, where is. No warranty.  The car is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel if sold. I have more pictures if you want to see the interior before I started replacing door panels, dash lights, etc.
